Paranoid?

I'm probably just paranoid but i started germinating my seeds (15) on may 14th, and i put them in soil mix in the ground outside on may 20th and watered every day since, I watered today (June 4th)and my babies still have not come out of the ground. I put them about 1.5 inch deep in the soil.

Im trying to be patient but does it usually take this long for the seeds to come out of the ground?

I would really rather not do that, but if I have to I will, could I just wait it out?

What happens when the seeds are put too deep?
Well, no, I don't think you can, because when the cotyledon (seed leaves ) develop (which is really fast), they need light as soon as possible, so, you need to take them out if you want them to make it. And even if they do somehow make it through without digging them up, the plant's gonna be really stressed, which will lead to slow growth, and possibly a hermaphrodite.

ok then my only choice is to dig them up, but what exactly would I do after I dig them up, take some soil off the top so the seed is closer to the surface?

If some1 could give me detailed instructions, I would appreciate it =] .

gently scrape the soil off the top if you run into a germinated seed stop.
do that to all of them and you should be fine
