Papaya/single plant RDWC. LED

Anybody with any ideas on the droop and the odd leaf texture I mentioned above?

Current conditions
Tent temp 74 to78 lights on. 66 to 70 lights off
Res temp 65 to 68
Humidity 40% to 50% (usually closer to 40)
Ppm 510
PH 5.7
Still using hydrogaurd and great white for the root issues I was having

I'll repost a couple pics, one for plant color under natural light, and a repost to show the leaf crinkle issue

After a full cleaning, res change and re-inoculation yesterday afternoon she is looking super happy. No droop at the moment and she has started really taking off again.

Just couple pics to show growth. Topped her a few days ago and the new tops are about to emerge from that bushy ass canopy. :)

Well she is officially one month old! The root problem I was dealing with is looking to be a thing if the past. Massive amounts if new and healthy root mass. Also had a slight issue with N abundance due (probably) to some pH issues, but I think I've got that under control now as well. The two tops are stating to really take off after some struggle to break through the insanely dense canopy. Thinking about flipping to 12/12 in another week or so. What do ya'll think?

Also forgot to mention, did a res change for her last night and she must have been hungry because she ate almost 175 ppm in about 12 or 14 hours. Not sure if that's normal for this stage, but she has never eaten like that before.. :-P

I think you should keep em going for another week or two before flip. Get em bigger and bushier, unless you lack the space. Look at day 30-50 in my veg phase. The plant like tripled in size.

What day are you at from seed?

She is exactly 1 month old today. I'm more than willin to give another couple weeks. She'll need some training though... so bushy! Lol

I would start LSTing to pull the branches out from the center. Once you top it's easier to start pulling each of those new tops to either side.Train it for another 2-3 weeks or so and then flip, you'll be rewarded greater.

Veg for at least 50 days from seed IMO. You have the space, don't be impatient lol. Another few weeks wont kill ya.

green twine, so it wouldnt hurt the plants. You can see it tied to the smart pots

Just dont tie it tight to the plants, so the stems can grow. Like put a looped knot on either end of the twine so its not tight around each stem. Start soon so the plant has time to fill out nicely and evenly before you flip.

Basically just LST out as many branches from the center that you can. The plant will fill in nicely. Don't worry if the branches are totally sideways like lying down, they will rise towards the light and straighten out.

Thanks! I'm actually fairly familiar with lst, I've just had bad luck with the materials I've used as tie downs cutting into my branches. Looks like the stuff you linked me to will work well. I did some gentle pulling and tweaking on my plant after the lights came on and I gotta say that I'm gonna need her to stretch a bunch before I can train much. Her branches are so damn thick and short right now that I'm pretty positive I'd be breaking things if I pulled on them enough to clear the main fan leaves... I may have to let her go for a bit and see what happens.

Just a quick pic from yesterday to show growth. Will probably do some kind of an update tomorrow. Been super busy and battling some nutrient issues so haven't had time to update.

Looking good! I read that light attracts algae so maybe cover around the top with something dark that will block light from the clay pellets...juicy lady!!

I definitely should have covered they hydroton in the beginning there... the canopy completely covers it now so I don't have to worry, but for future grows I will definitely remember. Welcome to the journey!
I'll be posting updates and pics late next week for anybody still keeping their eyes on this.
