Pack You Bought You're LEAST Likely To Grow

Hi I'm Observe and Report and I'm a seedaholic.

Unless you're the type that only buys as many seeds as you need just before you need them, you probably have some packs in your stash that you're not getting to any time soon. You know, it seems like a good idea at the time but then you find bad reports or you decide you don't like one of the parents or whatever.

What packs have you PAID FOR that you're least looking forward to growing out? Freebies don't count, they're at the bottom of everyone's list.

Please post the breeder and strain what is making you not so eager to pop them.

I had been hearing about Top Dawg and what a great breeder he was. Sour D crosses and Stardawg and whatever. Lots of tasty looking pics in the TD thread, lots of people really excited about growing them out. So when a bunch of "Sour" crosses dropped, I picked up the Cherry Pie cross, Sour Cherry. Not cheap. Later I found out they were untested and some people reporting herms, with the breeder bragging on Instagram that with has mad breeder-fu he can tell how a cross will come out just by having grown out the parents and doesn't need to test. There was a big stink about it in the TD thread here on RIU.

Yeah, I'll get right on that one, eventually.

Not so much that im putting them off but

After regretfully losing my DNA lemon skunk from years ago

i bought a half a pack of dna and green house lemon skunk to try and find that lemon head candy skunk i had.

And i did have them next in line but do to an awsome amount of testers and other breeders seeds to run

They just got pushed out of the rotation.
Also when i loved the lemon the citrus profiles werent around me like they are now .
So now im like ill get to em later cause ive had so much citrus profiles lately

But i dont like to sit on beans for more then a few years without rotating through them
They will eventually have their day in the sun

i have 4 biscuit tins full of packs of seeds, one of them is dedicated to seeds that wont be grown anytime soon.

looking through it it's mostly old stuff: mr nice - nevilles skunk, shit, spice, sensi seeds - super skunk, next gen romulan, joti blue lights & cheese, cannabiogen peyote purple, afropips malawi, tom hill deep chunk, sol blubonic.

This is probably surprising to most, but the packs I’m least likely to run are Thug Pug, in particular Meat Breath and Puta Breath. Nothing against Thug Pug or his crosses, they look stellar. I haven’t heard a single bad thing about any of them. I’m just honestly growing a bit tired of cookies crosses. I love cookies. But a lot of the cookies crosses tend to have similar smells and tastes, and I’m ready for something different. Plus being in CA, I can run to the dispensary if I ever get the craving for a good cookies strain. Probably 1/3 of all strains sold here have cookies in it. If I didn’t have that option, I’d definitely be popping these seeds soon.

Since I do have that option, and my grow space is limited (literally can’t grow for the next few months) I prefer to focus on stuff that I can’t get easily. Right now, I’m looking for the real OGs, skunks, and chems I used to get in high school. Most of what I’m picking up are crosses of old school elites, looking for the kind of smoke I used to get, maybe with a new coat of paint on it. As for the Thug Pug gear, I’ll leave those seeds in my fridge until the cookies cravings return, or may even trade them if people really need some Studly Spewright offspring in their hands.

Crop Kings Seeds White Cookies. Bought these when I first got into buying seeds. Didn’t know about all the bad reviews.

Fruity Pebbles Fems from Jaws. Heard nothing but good things about fruity pebbles so when they became available in fem form I pounced on it.... Turns out the only reports speak of intersex issues. I believe a 10 pack of fems were $20 cheaper than a 12 pack of regs so I should have known better

Man people here on RIU have been talking a lot about romulan and I've grown next generation's grape god on like 3 different occassions, both regs and fems, and all times it was solid and stable. I'd give them and the tom hill's stuff a go, hell those are both strains current breeders are working with too!

My packs would be cannaventure GSC mix, I bought it because I'd like to find a bubba or larry leaning pheno and they were cheap, like $60 for 18 beans. But since I bought them I haven't seen but one or two grows. I'm still gonna pop them some day but they'll wait, lol.

The other pack I have I probably won't run for a while is Iron Horse by greenpoint. I haven't seen any grows of this kosher x stardawg.

Honestly if I would have researched GPS a little more I probably would have passed on most their gear. I didn't realize his stardawg male just completely overpowers all of his crosses so you're basically just growing stardawg phenos. I mean I get it, the male puts out resinous offspring but I don't like males that overpower the crosses. It takes some of the magic away from momma.

I'm running a cookiesNchem right now, 5 days 12/12, and I'm not impressed. No side growth and super slow grower but I'm sure the smoke will be good, just really not making the grade.

With that said I do wanna pop the rest of my CnC, my pack of bodega BBgum and boomtown but honestly even these will come in behind my own crosses with grapes 13 and tangerine power males and an upcoming goji og f2 chucking.

I have an ass load of packs that I "won't grow"
But what's funny is after every grow I wanna try something different and start digging through the seed vault and pop something I would never expect to. Glad I've spent all the money I have on beans. So my own genetic library is vast.
But man, do I need to stop. Haha

I've got a pack of "dr grinspoon" from a couple years ago that just sits in the fridge...

wouldnt discount that CV GSC mix too quickly, i think its the Bubba Urkle Cookies pheno pictured, crossed real well with Orange Cookies x FPOG

i know bro, i still want to grow them, the trouble is i have hundreds of packs of stuff from over the years and those are just the ones nearer the back of the list. i'll get to them one day.

seed junkies sherb x animal cookies.. traded a buddy 6 bodhi seeds for the pack... then now .. reports appear to be balls everywhere

.......is not in my stash. I doubt that GPS Hickok Haze will ever get cracked; Night Rider and Cali Cannon are long shots. I have several packs missing one or two that I'll probably never return to. A couple of Breeders Boutique - Plemon and ED x Fireballs don't seem likely.

I'm making beans also, and they'll get 50% priority going forward. Coincidentally, I have a goji project upcoming as well.

Sucking on Night Rider right now......nice! Bodhi Acapulco Gold.

Goji always makes for some fun
