Pacific Northwest Guerilla grow

So, this is my first attempt at a guerilla grow. I'm still pretty new to growing, but I've done plenty of research. I did my scouting on google maps last winter to find a nice remote spot with easy access to water and away I went. I took advantage of the attitude Xmas special and got about 20 seeds to plant. I started growing 8 seeds, but I stuck them outside too early and they died to a frost... lesson learned. I planted another 6 under a cheap flouro 'grow light' from walmart and 4 came up. I vegged them for 2 weeks and then decided it was time to plant. I went out to my spot and dug some holes, filled them with sunshine mix #1, planted, and did a watering with some $5 miracle grow. This is definitely a budget grow, I'm your typical broke ass college kid and these supplies were all I could afford. (Notice what I'm using to tie them up? Kinda ashamed...) Also, I wasn't able to harden them off. I needed to do this without a room mate noticing, so I had to take them straight from the closet to the ground. These pictures are after 6 days in the ground and all plants are showing signs of new growth, so I think they will be fine.

Strains are Chunky Skunk, Belladonna, Nebula, and Freedom Haze. I'm not entirely sure which plant is which, I numbered the pots and wrote what strain each number meant on a piece of paper... but lost the paper. So take each strain name with a grain of salt, I'm going off memory.

I'm not sure what to expect with this grow. It's my first time, so I'll be happy just to make it to harvest. I've already learned a lot for next year though.

Im from the atlantic northeast, but I love to see someone new getting out there. It looks like you got some nice soil and seeds. sucks you couldn't harden off but only the strong survive! If I had one recommendation it would be try to get as much sunlight to them as you can. looks like you've got little trees right next to them. Look up at the suns path and see what trees are blocking and try to do some trimming. I remember when I first made my spots Wich are kindof like yours I would only get sun from like 10-2 at the hottest part of the days. but over time ive slowly opened up the canopy and gotten longer days. good luck man, and smart not telling the roomie.

Looking good. I like the natural barrier of logs you've got going on.

As others have said, maybe trim back some of the trees to increase light, but not so much as to make it noticeable.

Also watch out for rabbits. I don't know how they are out there, but back east they make quick meals out of small plants.

Bad news, something ate my plants. I had bars of soap out and the tomato cages, but they still got to them. My Belladona is tore up pretty bad, something ate 2 out of the 5 branches and she isn't looking too great. The freedom haze is completely gone, all they left was a tiny piece of the stem. Definitely a bit disheartening. :/ It's not all bad though, the 2 plants that didn't get munched on are showing some decent growth. I watered them with a full strength feeding from my miracle grow all purpose outdoor plant food. I also did some defloliation like you guys suggested, they should be getting some more sunlight now. There are still some upper branches I want to get out of some of the bigger trees, but that will have to be done another day.

I have had my seedlings eaten by slugs up here in PNW. Look for a slime trail. If it slugs get something copper and put around the stems they get electrocuted if they try to cross it . copper tubing or tape works great.

damn man sorry to hear about that. Do you ever piss in the area? I like to leave my stank in the area when I can so the creatures know im there. But at least you got some survivors.
