I ordered frame from Tnutz. One thing I found and GG might correct me on this because I’m not an electrician. I think in his video he says he’s using a 50k potentiometer. I noticed it was brighter without potentiometer. I happen to have a 100k so I tried it and it didn’t lose any brightness until you turned knob.

If my memory isnt shot: 50K would be for dimming 2 drivers with one dimmer

With 1 driver...it goes bad and dies = no light to finish until RMA finishes.
But with 2 drivers = 1/2 light still available, but yield will prob be lower then expected.
...generally thats the thought of 1 vs 2...sometimes its cheaper to buy 2 vs 1 too. :)

The 1000 watt replacement, right? What was your cost? It's mentioned $800 but I'm thinking less than $600.

Yes. he made another video where he is switching to tnutz for frame . I ordered 8 45 inch spine and 1 double spine 45 inches. This is the way to go. I think the total for frame was 169.00. Takes about 30 min to put together with an allen wrench. No drilling. Yes somewhere around 800.00.

I went 2 drivers. If I want to veg I turn one side off.

Well I just hung it. I'm only running 1 side now with 2 plants. Hell yeah ir should veg really well just dim it down. You don't need that much light to veg. the total for 16 srips was 426 shipping included. So strips 426.00 frame 169.00 drivers 202.00 dimmer 12.00. I already had wire and wagos

I've bought LEDS in the $200 ranger before- I can't believe this out performs a 1000 HPS....does it reeeeaaaalllllly?
My electric bill went up a lot, I mean police search warrant up, from the before grow time.

It will shut it completely off. Since I've never used HPS before I can't answer that. I can tell you that I have PLC cobs and Timber Cobs I can pull 1.5 GPW of top grade flower easily. I'm almost sure I can pull 1000 grams off that light.

I added wrong at 4AM, it will be around $725 at the cheapest. They have a "sale" on the Photo boost strip @ $25.99. Is that a good price?

Also are there cheaper parts that are almost as good. Trying to get it around the SF4000 price $570
