Oxygen

For anyone who has the resources.. I run an NFT system and for the past 5 years I have run air stones in my Res. and my pipes fed by 2 Medical 5L Oxygen Concentrators instead of air pumps. Plant health and growth have been staggering. Coupled w/ C02 Enrichment its a show stopper. Just my 2 cents.

To be honest I have never tested it. Dident want to fork out the big cash for a quality meter.

Can u post a pic of your oxygen tanks? And what ur using for co2 enrichment? I have 5gal dwcbucket with airstones and air pump but your way sounds better +rep

I've thought about doing this before but couldn't ever get my hands on a couple of decent priced concentrators, I would love to see some pics of this in action. I've since converted to organic dirt so I won't be using this anytime soon but I've been thinking of running a DWC system with an O2 concentrator in the rez...very cool

I used to work for a company who made Concentrators... spare parts came home....lol... as far as pics "in use" the system is mounted in the basement and I have hoses run through the walls to hose barbs in the room.. just use it as your air to power your stones.

As far as C02... I built a Natural gas burner plate w/ reg and run Cool Tubes and thermo control so heat is not an issue.

i havnt tried growing hydro.... but to oxygenate my water i use i just add some hydrogen peroxide it has an extra oxygen molecule then water..... u can sometimes here the fizzing/bubbling of extra oxygen when used on seedlings in incubator... i grow with soil by the way

i don't understand the question.

He means ppm of oxygen in the water.
