am i overwatering the little one


and the new growth is brownish

Looks like some kind of nute burn. If that's in soil, do not add any additional ferts for the 1st month or so. Also, you should only water when the soil is dry after sticking a fingertip in about 1" down. It could also be the PH of your water or soil. Maintain roughly around 6.8 for soil.

Yeah i was watering it wrong, i would just go by looks on the top of the soil, now that i stick my finger in it, it feels wet.

I have a PH meter for my water its around 6.8 i didnt bother buying one for soil as i heard that the soils ph follows the waters ph buy maybe i'll buy one

6.8...ive always been told 6.2-6.5 for soil.... anyone wanna second that?

i will second that 6.8 is good

i think im also haveing problems with over watering becasue my leaves are curled down and yellow between the veins.But when i check the soil with my moisture meter it reads between moist and dry.Am i sopposed to let the soil were the roots are dry then water becasue i read that the soil should always be most?
