overwatering/high pH problem: any helpers?

heya, my problem started when i realized that some leaf twist was due to a high pH. in a panic, i used a vinegar containing feed to try and drop the pH. the idea was to flush through and so i used alot of this water. the result was, yes, a lowered pH but also a lot of drooping the next day.

following advice given on RIU, i left the plant for a couple of days. i even potted it up into a pot with new dry medium around the wet root ball. the droop has lessened but now i fear i am seriously depriving the plant of nutrients due to the high pH (don't think vinegar did the job!).

should i:

- try and lower the pH using pH down etc in an attempt to get some minwer pHerals into the plant (the soil is not quite dry but not too bad) and risk a little overwatering again?

- leave it to dry and risk fucking my plant from nute deficiency?

i use one 125w blue CFL on a 20/4 schedule, feed (atm) using half strength chilli focus (until my IONIC grow comes) and have a fan to blow a gentle breeze over the plants.

this is all documented in my grow journal, where several people have been really helpful, but i though starting this thread might get me the urgent help i need!
