Overwatered the 3rd time?

Hi,

I don’t understand why my plants get over watered. My soil gets dry about an 1 1/2inches I feed them either just pH to 6.5 water or 1/2 fox farm big bloom but my plants still have drooping leaves? Water gets drained out from the bottom and I’ve loaded my soil with a good amount of perlite. My soil runs pH of 5.9 which should still be good. My temp always runs from 74-81 during light hours. My seedlings are 9 days old and are in peet pots. Any ideas? Btw I feed them every 3 days next time I will feed them in 4 days.

Water by weight. Pick up the pots when they get light they need water.
It could be dry 2 inches down then soaked at the bottom. Only way to tell is feel the weight of the pot.

Edit: they def. Look over watered.

Also big bloom nutes are for flowering i wouldnt even be feeding nutes yet personally til 3rd node

The pots do feel very light bro

Big bloom npk value full strength would be 0-0.5-0.7

If your in a soil and already feeding it nutes that just might be your issue and im almost certain it is. We have all loved a plant to death once or twice. No need for nutes yet if your using a good soil.
Are those wood chips in the soil?
Any pics with the led off?

Ur over watering and feeding wayyy to early. Your leafs are yellowing from the bottom up. Give them plain water the next time u water. Its easy to over love cuz all u want them to do is grow faster. I believe u made another post about this a week ago or so and I said the same thing I'm saying now. Leave them alone and let them grow. They are working on there root zone right now.

Besides the point that ur feeding too early doesnt matter if the npk ratio is low its still too early since u have been feeding nutes through out its life on top of overwatering abd feeding bloom nutrients those things are shocked probably feed plain water for 2 feedings then start feeding grow big which is for veg make sure pot feels light when u lift it like your picking up a pot of air. Npk doesnt matter how low it seems thats just a ratio not percentage remember that

And we mean light as in compared to when u watered u will notice a big difference between a dry pot and a watered pot all the info u need has been said up to u to fix it now

Pick up the plants every time you walk by, water them when they are light weight, but before the colour on top changes from drying.

I've done the 1 inch, 2 inch finger down test. When I first started growing.
Found, depending on medium mix, type of pot/ planter can cause false reading.
Water by weight has been the best reliable method for me.

One of the things you don't want to happen.
Which I like to call MUD BUTT.
( Rotting roots and soil at the bottom of the pot)
It's when you think the soil is dry by using the finger method and you keep watering to often.
Not realizing the bottom few more inches down still remains wet.
This will cause poor root development, root rot, lock out, rotting stinking soil and a bunch of other problems that can lead to misdiagnosing a plant problem.
Which can lead you down the panic path of WTF is wrong. Got to solve NOW!

Example, Oh looks like my girls are nute deficient, got to give it some nutes, Oh shit my plants are all burnt now!
Wait may be its a PH problem. etc.

Watering properly is one of the first important thing to learn.
Avoid the headaches.

I had this problem on my last grow checking with my finger. This one will be checked by weight forsure
