Overwater or underwater?

im having a hell of a start with these girls. First grow in years. I posted about 5 days ago about real droopy leaves and I was told over watered. 5 days later no water and soil seems fairly dried out. New growth continues to sprout off but they look terrible to me.

Been 8 days since put in soil from clone cube. Watered initially before putting them in soil to wet the soil (roots organic) watered again at day 3. Took a top off each at day 4. (3 plants total). 3x3x~7 tent. Platinum led 450. In 3 gal smart pots. Damn things just won't perk up. I plan to water tomorrow morning when light kicks back on (running 18-6 for light). Lights about 20-24" away. Temps staying mid 70's. Humidity 50-65%. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic of what I'm talking about.

Transplanting, overwatering, and topping all at once is quite a lot of stress. Don't be surprised that they're taking a while to perk up, they've got a lot to recover from. They'll come back, just need more time for the roots to recover before you'll see it in the top growth. Give it time, soil is slow.

Looks overwatered to me? Whats up with the wet leaves? That'll make it worse.
Clones need a root system before anything, they are just as sensitive as seedlings when sitting in damp soil for too long.

Can you post a pic in natural light?

I use 2 of the 150w version of these leds. Is the led too close? How far away is it? You can freak plants out with leds that are too close. My plants look better with the leds backed right off. Raise the led to like 3-4ft away minimum, let the plants stretch up to the light. Get some epsom salts too, it will make them a lush healthy green.

I would say the first 2-3" of soil is completely dry. Under when I stick my finger down there I feel some moisture
Young plants don't use much water. Especially if they're 8 days from clone. If you do water just give about half a cup.

More light as in your led light you got doesn't produce much. platinum is on the shit list of false advertisement.

I did read that about the platinum after buying it. I'm $530 into that light. It's going to stay. I can't imagine it being that much trouble and not growing these things. If a simple cfl will veg plants I can't even begin to understand why this won't.

It's on full power not veg right. If it's so new can you return it? 530$ is absurd for that

It has a veg and bloom switch. I have only the veg switch on. Sucker is bright as hell. Don't doubt their numbers aren't as advertised but it's a pretty intense light to my eyes. If this can't cover a 3x3 tent with 3 plants then I donno wtf to do. Sounds kinda crazy to me

How long and many roots did it have when potting them?

I've had clones take a month to really take to new soil. But that was bad. So give them time. Only use a little water because the rest will just sit in the pot until the plants take off. Don't want fungus gnats.

Your light. It's 255 actual watts. It says it replaces 600w hid.

600w hid is usually about 30% efficient.
Pled is about 22% efficient

So you'd need 8% more power to match a 600w in a 3x3. Not adding in the spectrum targeting. But regardless it's not enough. 3x those lights would do it. But they're junk. Return it if you can and you can get some pretty awesome lights for that price.

I'd flip it to full power and buy more lights. Just not pled

Well shit. Not at all what I expected to hear from this thread but thank you. Returning the light may be possible but won't be without a giant pain in the ass. I'll have to kick that around for a little bit..

As for the clones they were pretty lengthy maybe 10-11" tall. They were in yellowish cubes I couldn't tell you exactly what the material was. Roots starting to come off the blocks when I planted them.

I bought my p150's used. I knew the platinum people talk shit, but I have owned other lights made by e shine and they work pretty well. It's just an average led grow light. It can grow some decent weed, but it ain't cobs. That's plenty of light for in there with 1! People saying you need 3 of them P450's, in a 3 x 3 area is ridiculous advice!

How much light do I need in to cover this 5ft x 5ft tent? 50 x P150's?

300w of 4 inefficient cheap used shit led's, all with bullshit on their websites  and a 315w cmh is doing pretty good for 25 sq ft.
