i just wanted to let people know to stop spending big bucks on advanced nutrients vodoo juice..i did some research and talked to a friend about adding a additive to my soil that has beneficial bacterias..he could only think of vodoo juice but that shits hella pricey so i did some research and found out they sell this stuff called PLANT SUCESS and it has EVERYTHING vodoo juice has plus more and its like 100 bucks cheaper...i ended up going to my local hydroponic store and the hydro dude said he thought the same as me..its just as good as vodoo juice if not better the only difference really is the advanced nutrient label

The thing is, the quality of it. The reason choose organic fox farms over organic miracle grow is because of the quality. They have the same stuff but miracle grow isn't the best.

The Benefits of Beneficial Organisms

The effects of micro-organisms on a plant can be profound. These organisms, such as bacillus, mycorrhizae and trichoderma all form symbiotic relationships with the plant and are found in soil. Bacillus is used world wide for the control of loopers, fungus gnats, insect pests and opportunistic fungi pathogens. Tricoderma is a fungi that feeds off pathogenic root rot and damping off fungi; it also stimulates the plants root and immune systems, which helps the plant to fight off fungi attacks. Mycorrhizae is a beneficial fungi which colonizes the root surface; this helps keep the pathogenic fungi from getting a foot hold on the plant’s root system. Mycorrhizae also helps the plant take up nutrients that are out of reach of the plant’s roots. All of these beneficial organisms feed off plant exudes from the root system and some nutrients in the growing medium.

It's all about flaver and yeild for me i want my weed to taste good when i smoke it ya know:weed:
if ur all about yield then u want to grow chemically..if ur all about taste then grow organically..but most of the taste comes from curing ur buds right so u might as well grow chemically

Well I've searched and searched but I can't seem to find any list of the fungi in plant success :(

Any chance you know of where they might list them?

About $25 for 450 grams of endo/ecto fungi and bacteria. Unspecified as far as I can tell.. Unable to find results from anyone who has used it.

The advanced nutrients lineup they list 3 products, 46 species of endo/ecto fungi and bacteria, 1400 grams for about 200 bucks. Pricey, but if you have the cash to burn the AN system as a whole is proven and documented.

If you could find some kind of information of what plant success actually has in it other than just the vague "fungi and bacteria" line it would make a comparison actually possible. Or if you could even grow some plants with it that'd be great too :bigjoint:

I've tried the sub-culture M and sub-culture B myco/bacteria lines from general hydroponics. Great deal for the money, 300 grams for about 60 bucks. This is what I am using right now. About half the species as AN but in my experience I get similiar plant results. My root mass finishes out in about equal time with both. Significantly better than without either.. roughly 2 weeks ahead I would guess.

The difference between the two, AN claims that voodoo juice has a specialty species of bacteria that acts as an N3 fixer.. I've never had any nitrogen problems with or without it, so I can't really comment. I give my plants plenty of N :)

AN claims to be a specialty product line, if they arent lying about having 46 species, then you are paying 140 bucks to double your possible effective species, and get quite a bit more of product.. seems reasonable if you've got the money to burn.

The only myco/bacteria line that my hydro store sells other than the general hydro line has 6 species. It is ridiculously cheap though.. 3 pounds for like 30 bucks i think..

im talking about vodoo juice not the 3 other products they got..i dont even know what they got..but i do know vodoo juice has less then plant success and everything u want thats in vodoo juice, plant success has in it as well..so if u use vodoo juice id switch over to plant success or at least try it out cuz its alot cheaper

I like Fox Farms. They give you a handy feeding schedule. My plants have skyrocketed like never before. The pricetag is not bad at all either.

Wow, what a disappointing thread. Always interesting to hear about a new product, but when you're talking about the Plant Sucess stuff, no one's really talking about how it helps a grow.

All it seems anyone cares about is how much money they're spending on their nutrients.

Look folks, good nutrients cost money. And if you really cared about your grows, you would look at what all of the nutes do, then spend on what your plants need.

I spend my money on Advanced Nutrients because I've seen some great results. If anyone could talk about what they've seen in terms of results from this Plant SUccess stuff, I'd be all ears.

let's learn from each other instead of just sounding like you're advertising for something you know nothing about...LOL.

I mean, we all make mistakes when we talk about stuff, but I really want to know what stuff does, not just that it costs less. Anyone can find that out from the Internet.

Prove that something is WORTH the price or it really is a good deal so that we can all decide to try something or not.

The price doesn't really matter, the results do...

it has everything in it that vodoo juice does..and more lol..im using it right now and as far as i know it's working just fine..i cant believe noobs come on threads talking some bs like they know what there talking about..sayin "All it seems anyone cares about is how much money they're spending on their nutrients. Look folks, good nutrients cost money." what the fuk i use AN haha i got bud blood, big bud powder, bloom boster pro, micro grow and bloom nutes, carbo load hahahahaha i was clearly saying read ur labels know what ur nutrients do for ur plant..cuz this 20$box of plant success could work just as good if not better then AN's vodoo juice..do experiments with nutrients..last grow i used nothing but molasses to add carbs this grow i got carbo load to see how it works..experiment
Don't worry about it man. The noobs will find out once they've been doing it for long enough. Ask Uncle Ben. He's been doing this shit for like 40 years and doesn't use anything from hydro shops and you should see this guy's grows! He still has noobs come into his threads and argue with him. You just can't tell some people shit. :weed:

yea thanks bro i feel u but honestly i bet uncle ben hates me haha.. i've been on his threads and im like one of the only ones that ever disagree's with the things he says...alot of noobs follow him and think he's the man but i dont know..he should put UB on a paper and take pics of his plants cuz i dont know if he's for real or not honestly..i dont necessarily disagree with what he says all the time but somethings he says he just blows waayyy out of proportion and acts like it makes that big of a difference

um i wont smoke no chemical grown bull shit regardless if it is flushed, the buds is made up of the chemicals , even if it is flushed the make up of the compunds are built from crazyness u dont even know about, ima be alive in fine in 100 years smoking my organic wonder lol

the thing i hate the most is when he says..leafs are like solar panels..and in the thread we'll be talking about cutting the bottom part of the plant to have the plants energy focus on the top of the canopy instead of wasting time on lil pop corn nugs..(like in the pics i posted) its not like it doesnt have other solar panels..and when he says focus on healthy foliage dont cut it away it will effect ur yield..hahaha things like that just made me think if he was 4real
