over watered

if i've stunted my outdoor plants growth due to poor drainage and overwatering, can they make a come back if i let the soil dry, airate it and be careful not to overdo it anymore? they are 2 months and barely a foot.

They dont look overly watered. Usually the leaves hang downwards, but they do look small for 2 months. Yeah if you leave them so the soil dries then water they should be fine. Next time you water test the soil by sticking your finger in 2inches. if it feels moist, dont water. Or get a hydro metre

actually now that i let them dry out a little they are doing awesome! i have them in special pots that retain water but it was too much and they were too saturated to absorb nutrients. they are even starting to grow all sorts of secondary stems, teh leaves are huge and they are starting to flower.

hi
i have had this problem b4,
i picked the pot up and and poked knitting needles through the drainage holes at different angles and then the next time i watered i added a little bio-degradable washing up liquid to make sure the the next nutes would reach all roots preveiously soaked,

they will never be huge but they still have enough time to fill out. it's a first try so i'll know a lot more for next year, starting with a better soil mix for more ventilation.
