Over thinking at its finest?

So I'm coming up to my first harvest and obviously putting a lot of thought into drying/curing,which leads to my question leaf on leaf of...when I chop er down I'm. Not to worried about look its just for me so I'm more worried about taste and colour a little bit to I guess. so does taking the leaf of right after chopping or leaving it on change much, what about curing with the leaves on wouldn't that just make your hash smell and taste better as well...tips and pointers of what y'all do will help me sleep tonight thanks
I have done both and I prefer to trim buds right at harvest. Last harvest I tried hanging a whole plant and the leaves start sticking to the buds and I'm sure some THC ends up on leaves.

Wow that's a pretty short curing process ,and the gf claimed my leaf for eatables lol, thanks though something tells me I'll be using this method me first time around
It's not a finished cure, but enough that it's enjoyable. After it's stable and not soaked to fuck, you can age it longer. Think of that shit as white dog, if you're a bourbon guy.

Remove the sugar leaves and use them for Quiso, I'd say. It'll dry faster and it won't retain moisture to rot the buds. Dry for 5 days, cure for 1 or 2 days, repeat dry for a day and a half, then jar it again and it should at least have a smokable texture and part of its flavor and scent.
I would cure it for a couple of week at least, then u can store the flowers without worrying about bud rot/mould.
i hang em for 5 days and cure for a couple of weeks.i always stash my gear sort of outside,so it has to be done right or it'll rot.i have just pulled out the last buds of my last crop theyd been cured and stashed for 2 month.all chrophyl will be removed and the buds take a slight grey/pastel green colour.man its some really smooth shit when done like that, worth it in the long run if you have time.

on 1 of there vids arjan literally chops the plant down and puts it straight into a carboard box seals it then into his drying room for 12 months for the cannabis cup.
dunno how they actually manicure the plant tho.!
i wish i had the room and time to do it like that, but there a multi million pound company in holland and we're all homegrowers who wanna smoke the shit asap.
everyone to there own opinion,as long as you got no rot in there your laughing.
