Over fertilization.

The post name says it all, LOL. I'm growing in a hydro bubbler (DWC). My light 400 watt HPS is 18" above the top of the plant. I'm on light 16/8 schedule for one more week. My grow room temperature is at 79°. My reservoir temperature is at 66°-68°. I got some nutrients I've never tried before and I was too zealous, I guess. I purchased a brand called B'cuzz because it was on sale. My leaf tips are curling under and are slightly burnt at the tip. I'm going to put my plant into some pH adjusted water today to flush them, but for how long do you guys think I should let it go before I add my nutes again? One to two days or maybe a full week? Any help would be appreciated.

A day at most should be fine. DWC will respond within hours. Depending how big they are, flushing for a week could leave you with some pretty serious deficiencies.

What strength did you feed at? Just flush for 24 hours and add nutes back in at 20-25% of recommendation.

Your lucky it is in vegetative stage. I would run water only for a few days or until the oldest shade leaves show a slight tint of yellowish, then bring them back up to half strength over a couple days. There is no need to run at them high range PPMs. They actually do better at half or 2/3 of what the fertilizer companies recommend.

Good luck, just be patient.

It is a two part nutrient mix. The directions say to add one to two mililiters per liter of part A and B. I figured that would be too strong so I started at .75 mililiters per liter of each. The plant is still pretty small. I'm on the 19th day of vegging. Do you think I should go with .25 mililiters or .50 mililiters per liter when I put nutrients back into the reservoir?

you need a ppm/ec meter. ph ing plain water water is a waste of time ah adjusting fluid, ph affects nute uptake not water uptake. flush for 24 hours then start nutes at about 400ppm
