Over-fert or Underwatering?

Hey guys,

I'm about 6 weeks into vegging and I added nutrients about 2 weeks ago. I came back and checked on my plants and they looked fine after the first week of nutrients. Then I added 12 oz. of water to each plants (like I normally do every week) and the next day the plants changed. Some of the leaf tips are turning brown and many of the leaves are curling down and rolling to the sides.

I read through the forum and guessed that it has to be over-fertilizing but why would it just now show up? I only used 1/4 strength of what FF schedule says. I fed with FF nutes.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

its hard to tell, what kind of dirt and nutrients do you use. It could be too much fertilizer, or you could be mag deficient if it was overwatering the whole plant would droop instead of the leaves curling

I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil. You think magnesium?I was thinking maybe nitrogen..
see thats why its nice to know what you use cause it could be many things being so early into the problem. and it is early but you could easily be right. Leach the soil really good about 3x as much water as the soil can hold if there is no change in your plant in the way it grows then you've ruled out nitrogen. I do think your right though its probably to much N because its so old and your using a fortified soil so it should have plenty of mag and cal in it at this stage of growth
but they look pretty good otherwise
