over 5 weeks and not budding + rep

ok i have a 50 inch female plant under a 430w super argo hps she took 3 weeks to show sex . i put her in 12/12 on 06-21-09 and she showed sex at 07-10-09 and shes been in 12/12 ever since then and all she did was get pistily and no buds have even attempted to form at all and she stretched from 20 inches to 50 inches since then . i have her on techniflora nute bc boost,bloom awsome blossom, b1 thrive alive red, sugar daddy thats all the nutes shes on 7-16-21 and still just not budding any help or suggestion i will give rep. shes 90% sativa 10% indica

hey im back...i think they are comeing along nicely just a bit slow do to the sativa strain.. they will plump up very nicely, it will happen... i'll call you 6pm my time

Nelly, I'm a sucker for a challenging plant issue, but this one has me stumped. I have a couple thoughts though. One is that nearly pure sativas will generally take longer to begin actual bud formation. This a fairly basic thought just thinking about how sativas differ from indicas in their growth patterns. Another thought is: micro nutrients. There are 9 major nutrients and we always make sure the plants are recieving those. There are 7 micro nutrients. Look at the ingrediants of all the food they are getting and make sure that she is recieving all. If not she may be delayed because of lacking one or more of the micros. Grow faqs above will show a list of all valuable nutrients, compare what you are feeding them with what that list has on it. Hope this helps. :peace:

no leak its sealed off on the inside to i have mylar around teh walls and also i wave a wall of mylar that covers the other side of the door so nothing comes in from the outside and all air ducts are covered so it doesnt have any leaks
 
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't some sativa take as long as 14 weeks? At 5 weeks you should just be seeing a whole bunch of bud sites. At 10 you should be seeig them bulk up until almost a month later when it's time to chop.

i got a bunch of bud sites like from the top of each node i got 10-15 bud sites on each and they are growing alternate nodes on those as well and those have bud sites so about 20 budsites on each node , theres alot but i just can get good pics with that damn hps in the way man lol

but im going week 6 in a couple days

yes you are right.... they do take longer to flower and to start flowering..
 
Im working on some supreme skunk its a indica dom cross and still it took about 4 weeks to get where u are but it started to bud up nice after a it streched
 
light leak? if not then idk maybe you have an tropical strain that need 10 hours. i would leave it in the dark for a day or 2 then put it on 10/14

thats what im about to do is put it on 10/14 because i had it like that before and nothing happened , but i have no light leaks and im switching it as of today
 
its alreaday been said .... but my thoughts are purely with a very very sativa strain/pheno . And these can take 14-15 weeks, so consider your development about a third of the way. The plants look fabulous ... for pure strong sativa characteristics .... I thnik you are doing a fabulous job, but you got a while to go ....and let them be all they can be .... your patience will be WELL rewarded ....
