I would like to hold Scynce's feet to the fire on this article. Are we really in a place where a company can say anything they want and not have to back it up with hard data?
Isn’t this the case with all companies. This is just standard everyday internet for me.

So here is the specs.... 1.2 umol/j at full power. 1200 watts 1757 ppf.....
I read it, hardly comprehensive, and I think its the Dragon XL they are referring to
lets go item by item, all BS imo

  1. 13 patents they apparently hold
  2. industry’s first smart LED grow lights that both increase yield and save energy
  3. uniquely positioning itself as a commercial grow light leader
  4. Our patented optics allow for deeper penetrating light
  5. We have experienced tremendous success with growers of all sizes across North America
  6. Dragon XL 1200, the most powerful LED light for cannabis applications
  7. All SCYNCE solutions are designed to focus 100% of the light (and thus power) on the grow area, eliminating light projected on walls and floors
  8. SCYNCE is a leading provider of Smart LED Grow Lights for cannabis cultivators across North America

Where is the actual grow testimonials If used by growers already ?
Being a grower for several decades, I sort of let my plants tell me what they like and although science can help us achieve some goals it's not the end-all game they tend to say it is.
Just as an example, here is a grow just finishing up that's more than likely going to get me over 2 gpw or otherwise 270 watts wall watts over a 3x4" area and I'm still in the experimental stages of white LEDs with supplemental diodes.

The problems I see is that our society has allowed this to happen. All you have to look at is all the commercials on TV that spit out half truths and some out right lies.

How does that compare to say a HLG 600-H V2. I own one that has been in operation for about is about 2 weeks. I love it and I am buying more.

Kudos to Kurt at Growers Lights with great support too.
Your V2 600 kit should be in the ballpark of 1525-1550 total ppf output. So not quite that whopping 1757 umol but also 630ish watts vs 1200.... I feel pretty good about your choice lol. I may be a little biased though ;)

i dont doubt that 1 and 7 might be true (but not necessarily relevant). the rest is total marketing bullshit

for having a board full of leading CEOs youd think they could hire a decent technical writer who understands parallel construction
