outdoors in illinois

Whatsup growers! Had a few questions. Anyone have any experience growing outdoors in illinois? I'm growing a plant indoors right now and plan to continue to do so, but my family owns some land out in the country with some timber on it and for shits and gigs I was thinking about planting a few plants out there over the summer. Is the light cycle here even going to work? Whats the best time to plant/harvest? I figure early spring then lsnatch them up before the first ftost. But im not sure if our loght cycle will flower them fully or if it would even be worth doing? Any input is welcome input!

Also I live in central illinois if that helps at all.

Best thing to do is veg it inside and then transplant it outside for the flower cycle.

Once you have germed your seeds and planted them germ some auto seeds to have as a in between er crop waiting on your photos to finish come mid spring ...?

Cannabis is much happier outdoors with mother natures light cycle. Just choose some strains that are in the 8-10 week advertised flowering time and you will be fine. Start your plants indoors 3-4 weeks before the last expected frost. Study up a bit on hardening young plants off before outdoor planting. And their final planting spot outdoors should get a minimum of 6-8 hrs of direct, unfiltered light a day. Preferably in the AM period as it helps dry the night time dew. Properly grown outdoor cannabis blows the doors off of indoor of the same stain.

just plant in sunny location as early as you can and you'll be pleasantly surprised. the bigger the plant is when you put it out the better. what strain are you going to get? that's important.

Make sure you get the shortest flowering strain u can or youll most likely b fighting frost in the end trust me. some deer stopper or somethin too. Those fuckers got a nose for the plant. As well as many other rodents.

Thanks for all the input guys! I think I'm going to be ordering some of devils harvest strawberry sour diesel, so I figured I would grow the seeds I get for free with my purchase outside, or maybe a couple of the strawberry sour diesels. How do you think that will work? I thought they flowered in like 56 days or something maybe 9 weeks.
