Outdoor strains inside?

Can you grow outdoor strains in a hydroponic system indoors? I assume outdoor strains are just better at being resistant to mold and the like, correct?

Sativa strains grow in excess of 8 feet+ & take up to 4 months or longer to get through flowering. If it's practical you can do it in your setup but all of the space you need to grow 1 Sativa plant could easily fit 3 or 4 bushy indicas with a much shorter flowering time. From a production standpoint, does it make much sense?

not true...it all depends on how big you let them get before flowering...and outdoor strain can easily be cultivated inside as long as you dont let it get too big...and as far as sativa's being 8+feet...that also depends on the light they get...the time they're allowed ...i mean really indicas can be 10 feet tall it all depends on there genetics....as far as bushyness....LST that shit force that plant to grow up the way you want it...think of it like a kid whos misbehaving...get your daughters to lay down and they get fat and bushy...force those bitches to strech and they'll be tall and "skinny". ANYWAY i digress....the point is i have 2 sativa blends and a strong indica blend and all three plants are just under a foot after a month of veg....which is perfect if you have space restrictions....the rule of thumb is the plant will double in height by the time she's done after you put her on a 12/12 or flowering light cycle...so im assuming you're new to this so just know that these plants are your children and you are god like literally and shit....alright ill shut the fuck up im babbling on account of the lack of THC in the system...time to fix that :-)

I have done many sativa indoors, goose is correct, it all depends on how long you vegg them for. I had a sativa in a power grower hydro bucket, i started flowering at about 18" tall. It litterally doubled in size after doing 12/12. I had to top it at that point but i got about 3 1/2 oz from it. But if space is an issue i would go indica, but yes you can grow outdoor strains inside.

sure no problem only a handfull of strains are best ONLY outside Texada Timewarp is the only one I can recall. The buds won't be as tight with it.
I don't know why all these guys are yapping about Sativas.

yes but it all depends on the strain. i guess in this climate i wouldn't try an equitorial sativa outdoors anyhow, so i'd be forced to grow it indoors with special conditions. but so long as it is not an equitorial sativa, it should adapt nicely.
