currently got going outdoors.. Blueberry headband, blueberry gum, grandaddy blueberry, super grape ape, bubblegum kush.... the plants been vegging about 2 months indoors and a month in a half outdoors... past few days ive been noticing my plants looking like they are already flowering.. seeing a lot of white hairs and also little clusters growing on the plant... if u ask me, it looks like its in its first week or so in flowering stage... what could be the problem?? i hope it is just showing early sex... im not sure if i should bring them inside to flower them in my tent, or just let them sit outside... the thing is im not sure if they are vegging still or flowering... has anybody have any idea or have any similar experience with this??

My clones had white hairs when I got them a month ago, been outside past few weeks and still a few white hairs. They should veg fine and really start flowering sometime in August when the days get shorter. We are 2 weeks away from the longest day of the year so plenty of veg time left

I'm not an expert. I have been concerned about this as well. I was careful to do my indoor preveg at 16 and a half hours. I then put the plants outside May 19. All has went well. I watched the time period and length of day to time it right to not shock the plants. I have ten strains going and only 1 has pre maturely flowered. It is a mild preflower. Like what you have almost exactly. It is my guess; and just a guess, you will see veg take over and the preflower will receed. This does slow the plant down a bit, but nothing more than a transplant shock, or a over feeding nute burn. The days are still getting longer and the veg should smooth out and enter flower in August. My guess is that over all your yield will be mildly effected if at all.

Recipe for fix: Patience, and take more nice pictures.

Not too sure dude, but i'm sure will be fine.

Best advise i have is to find fdd, or another established outdoor grower, and have a talk with them.

GL friend.

yeah, urs sure does look like it is flowering.... i wonder, since the plants flower early, are they going to flower at their full potential as if they were flowering in august.????

catfish85:

i have started 1 ams bob marley (claimed to be sativa) sometime around march 10th, it is above 2 ft and showed preflowering signs about a month ago, it's a girl, she's growing like crazy.
then at april 1st or something close to that, i started 6 bagseed ak47 (the bud they came from was really strong, one hit wonder, so im gonna keep calling it ak47 because of the resemblance). all showed signs when they were around 10", 5 fems, 1 male, around the same date they showed signs of sex 1 of them actually started the process of flowering. it is now 20" and in 6th week of flowering. other 4 are growing, above 2ft in size.
it all depends man, they go crazy in the wild, they love it out there!

anyways, i wouldn't count on timelines or strain to tell you when one will start flowering. ppl told me the one in flower would reveg and it triggered itself because of the relatively long night period when i started it, it didn't, it wanted to flower and started, if everything goes well, she'll be harvested in 2-3 weeks time.

i think that outdoor growing is much different than indoor growing. you can't control everything as you can inside a grow room, thus we are experiencing early flowering plants.

i even read on some article that in countries that know no more than 14-15 hours of light per day, most of the plants will flower strictly based on their age and size, so you probably will end up with 3 harvest times all year round (besides winter of course). sounds pretty much logic to me.

"are they going to flower at their full potential as if they were flowering in august.???? "

not sure bout this one, and my lithium battery decided it's dead so im waiting for a new one so i could upload new pictures, but my flowering plant looks quite promising at 5 weeks flowering. will post pics soon in my thread

Catfish, your girl is in flower pure and simple. Yes she can be reverted to veg but not outside, she will need more light like 18+ hours per day to revert back to veg. Only a guess here but I would say you had the girls on about 18 hours of of light before going outside. If this is the case dropping down to 16 hours a day is more than enough difference in light to put your girls into flower. The light is the trigger to flower, decreasing the light triggers the response more than the amount of daylight, MJ plants are photsensitive.
Hope this helps good luck.

i had the same 0problem last year and it wasnt pre flowers i actually got a early harvest because of this .... ther are to things u could do here and one of them is to just let it go and revegg and this will give u alot more shoots when flowering actually takes place or u can sample some of your young smoke but i would just let it do its thing and ull b very happy... and next year u should time it better last year i went out at 4 20 but i really should have waited until mid may or early june
