outdoor plants container size? 10,20,30+ gallons ?!?!

ive got most of my plants in ten , 12, and 20 gallon containers. the plants are mostly 6-8 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide. im in southern ny by the city and i like to start my plants indoor as early as march first indoors.pull around early oct... anyone got opinions on container size? i like to grow big plants, up to 10 feet, and i wanna pull half pound or more per plant. right now im running af few of each.. super sour og by emerald triangle, super lemon haze , and pure power plant.

20 gallon would be the minimum I'd go with for bigger plants and thats only counting on a two month vegg sesion. starting like mid May and transplanting to the 20 about July first to finish in. With out staging transplanting and going straight to the 20 in may - june you can out grow it easy. The bigger the better of course ! As long as you can afford the soil.
