im a newbie. thought id get that out in anticipation of the analists, yes as in anal, who like to cry "read the posts". posts which are not worth shit without absolute specifics.
i have an outdoor veg garden, in arizona ,with one, two-month old, two-foot tall viking which survived the bird invasion. five more which are a week younger, less than a foot tall, and survived my stupidity(overwater), but had to be moved from the grow room to outdoors. and four more in between my tomatoes which were leftovers and are spindlely but growing.
my questions for the seasoned.
1 whats with the fingers on the individual leaves. i noticed the number per, increased after indoor plants were placed outdoors. is this a sign of better conditions?
2 the perfect potting mix. i almost killed my last indoor crop by drowning. they were in plastic pots 6" in diam. by 8" deep and many drain holes w/supersoil and nothing else. when i moved them outside the bottom half of the soil was dripping and smelled rotten, even though i watered them every other day.
thanks a bunch
