Hey, I live where in the summer it can get up to 120 degrees. Im gonna plant in a somewhat shady area to keep it cool. Is this just way to hot? Or is it posible?

Also is it bad to plant where other weeds are?

that temp should not be to bad as i live where it gets that hot as well(and some times even hotter than that.
I grow in full sun no shade at all they seem to love the full sun.
you just need to keep the moisture up to them.

as to the weeds just clear the spot you wish to plant so your girls dont have to compete for the water and they will grow into thumpers.

well when the get older they will need around a gallon a day,
but a very good soaking once twice a week will suffice.

just be shore to get to it if you have a real stinker of a day.

well that sort of depends on where you plant and how often you can get to them.

i have tried pots myself and found they dry out a bit quick when it gets really hot.
if you are going to water them every day or two then i would
say it would be ok

but myself i would make a good plot and plant in the dirt, mulch then water
and then it give you a bit of leeway on the really hot ones.

ok ill consider that

ya because the weed around it is masive
10' by 10'

thats why im a little worried about planting in the ground

and im in the city so this is the best spot i could find
