Since nobody hits the harvesting an curing thread - Official 2012 end of the world harvest thread!! Post up picks of this years harvest!! I wanna see what your years hard work accomplished for you! Yes for some it's early but I'll start the harvest process within the week an will continue for a about a month. So I'll have a ton if pics myself.

Just cut 1 down last night. Im trying a new drying method with this one. If all goes right ill have some nice nugs to show off real soon!

i live like 2 hours from my grow maddd pLANTS TURNED HERMI PICKED THEM AND HAD LATE MALES UNFORTUNITLY I SWEAR I SAY HAIRS ON THEM well what i wanna no is how much longer do you guys think till i should harvest i dont wanna wait to long to go up ther i have grown before and no what im doing and when to harvest just not sure how long theyll take being sativa dominate my indicas hermed stressed em out to much stared with cflzzz and sat in my trunk for 2 hours maybe more as well a couple times i saved them with water they were almost died all yellow and shit lol but im not on here much so quick reply would be great thank to who gives good advice appreciate dat View attachment 2340379View attachment 2340380View attachment 2340381

Beautiful plants but I must stress you to wait at least another 15-20 days and you'll def double your harvest weight. You have to remember they shrink to about 1/4 of their size in weight, so those nice Nugs/colas are really going to take a hit after being dried properly. If you wait another 3 weeks, you just might hit those numbers your talking about. If you pull now you might be looking at an ounce or so per plant dude. Are those Kush plants?

hey thanks thats a great help im gonna leave them till last frost its oct 15s theres lots of crytsals do you think 15 20 days is to long? just worried that they will all turn amber and degrade

also gave malasses early veg and today will this help i no i was late in flower for giving though it might make buds weigh and taste better

took some lower buds a few days ago as they were done before the tops. Nothing special but it does the trick, so im not complaining,

I read that post and am going to give that a try on some of my smaller plants. It made sense to me as a way to dry them as slowly as possible.

And everything he said was spot on ...I remember my aunt telling me she used to harvest her plants ny ripping them out the ground and hanging the entire plant upside down ...

I thought she was tripping but now it makes since and I'm gonna give it a try

Dyna - I don't remember the exact post (I see Kush found it!) but the gist of it was to hang the plant entirely, roots and all if possible, in the upright position. It will take longer to die (and continue to develop in a more controlled environment) because you are keeping it whole, just pulling out of the ground and moving it out of the light. If you are drying in an outbuilding, that also helps to keep it in its natural environment.

this is the way the hippies have been doing it for decades, its the way I've been doing it for /years/ I say its the way to go.
