OUTDOOR GROWING HELP (in a pot)

I planted 4 seeds in a small-medium size pot a couple days ago and keep it outside. I tried planting 1 by itself in the past and nothing so i planted 4 in hopes one will grow. I didn't germinate the seeds, i just planted them and watered it.

I water them everyday, about a tall cups worth.

I'm just wondering, but will it even grow?? and when can i expect a seed to grow...

Also, many websites say when the plant is mature, just cut down the whole thing and do the process, drying etc. But can i keep the plant alive and take as i need and not have to cut it down and grow a new one. I would rather have something i can just take a lil off and drie in the oven real quick and smoke it.

And when can i expect it to be ready to actually be able to use for smoking.
