Outdoor growing-first timer

Hey all, been a while since I posted

I'm looking forward to growing some cannabis outdoors this season.

Here's my game plan. If I'm missing any crucial steps, or anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

Medium:Soil

Nutrients to grow

Nutrients to bloom

Ceramic potters

Strain:anything with afghan linage

Seed:fem auto flower

Ph tester

Ph up/down

I would buy the seeds soon, and store. Germinate beginning of June.

Since it's an auto flower, I would assume it will bud in 45 days. Is it suggested to Harvest the plant, or continue to let the buds continue to grow?

Any advice/suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Any reason why you’re running an auto? You will get a much bigger yield/quality when running a photoperiod strain.

You don't need to adjust ph in soil ...good luck
Depends on how well ammended the soil is. You should always PH any nutrient solution you feed your plants otherwise deficiencies will arise because they may not receive ideal amounts of macro and micro nutrients.

OK but in fifty years outdoor I have yet to use a ph test in soil
To the OP I would find an alternative to those clay pots, they can be difficult to judge watering needs and tend to wick away water

Most autos I’ve grown have taken 3+ months. I’m not sure what you mean buy 45 days but I would not think it will be anywhere close to done on 45 days from seedling stage.
Make sure you pick a spot facing south and away from trees especially trees blocking the first sun of the day. Higher ground is better if cold nights are a concern.
Also grab a good photoperiod strain to give you something to trim in October.
Dinafem bred my best auto last year but I’m sure there are lots of decent auto strains.
A bit of peat will help loosen native soil and make it easier for fast rooting. And a shake of Dolomite lime for good measure.
