I rarely be on here but here is my start this year just dropped OG Kush x Sour Diesel and GDP x Sour Diesel . I popped them in soil Jan 16 and they sprouted a few days later and today they are looking good despite the weather conditions in so cal.

Did you germinate the seeds first or did you just pop them in the soil and kept the soil moist until they grew?

it might be a little early mac. light conditions may throw em into flower around march. hope for the best or supplement light in the evenings. doesn't hafta be much, just something to extend that cycle. even a 60w cfl will do, on a timer, comes on every evening and adds about 5-6 hrs.

Bhobbie i usually germinate them but these seeds didnt need it, just popped them in the soil and let it do its work.
Skinc its perfect right now in so cal plus where i stay i get the sun all day. its part of the 1st cycle of the year

Update: Still doing fine with semi low temps in so cal. but they are doing well indeed.

I just popped my seeds into I also live in So Cal (I.E.) I just hope it doesnt get to windy here.

So...you dont need to supplement any light for your plants this time of year and they dont flower? HMMM im not in SoCal but north of you , my sun is the same as yours and everyone i know up around here sure needs to supplement to be out till they really go out, or we do light dep, mother nature does not offer us anything else!!!

thanks FF i appreciate it. yeah i havent had to supplement any light because the plants are growing to my height needs for the 1st quarter grow of the year. the next will be great. Im going to upload pics of the beauts after work today

when do you guys usually go out and actually plant for your outdoor season?
i grow hydro but am starting crop for my first outdoor season
