outdoor grow/ michigan

Newbie here. I have 5 sage n sour clones i put in a dome under 200 watt cfl 3.5 weeks ago. They are about 8 inches tall. I'm in Michigan. I plan on planting outdoors on June 6. How long will they take till harvest and an estimate on yield? Thanks for any input

they won't begin to flower until there is less than 13 hrs of light, then 45-60 days after that they'll be done.

how and where you plant will effect yield more than we can guess. I personally hav not found sage or sour's to be huge yielders.

if your are lucky.plan on cover if you are up here

Ok, end of august is 13 hours of light. So, is it pointless to plant them in a week (June 5).Would it be better to just have clones ready to plant in august

Great to have legit 45-50 day strains up north. Light Dep. seems like such a benefit if you can figure that out to somehow have a jump on early flowering, for at least some. maybe painted brown, lil pvc hoops n pull tarp over them >campout/ for 2-3 weeks (uhgg...) for early harvest.

or run my northern lights...45-50 days like clockwork indoor hydro... starts to flower end of july ;)..finishes before everything else up here. often labor day weekend I would start choppin. done by bird season for sure

Can I speed up the process with an auto-flower strain. For example, plant outdoors on June 15 and harvest in 45-60 days? If so, which auto-flowered strain should I get?

^^that NL sounds like 'it' for northern yah,, mildew/funk resistant can be plus as well - Those Autos will take more like 75 days.. /veg for a wk. or so anyway/ yields on em may be low, like one O.. so plant a few more. really I've only run a few indoor so I don't have a lot of experience w autos.

'sage/sour' as in---""the best sour shit ever""---(triangle:leaf:cross) or some knock off after cross??
"best sour shit ever" is an early oct finisher.....

and yields hella big if u know what ur doin-

if its a knock off of that cross....anybodies guess-

make sure you adjust ur light to mimmick the daylight for easier transitioning-
whatever the daylight is before you thro them out adjust your veg lights accordingly with a slight lesser time to acclimate and follow pattern of sun....

as far as yield make sure your plants dont have more than 2.5oz for obvious safety reasons
or dont get caught (lol)
...or mayb expect compliance chk and a wake up call on our 'law'

they won't begin to flower until there is less than 13 hrs of light, then 45-60 days after that they'll be done.

3rd week in august sun goes below 12hrs of daylight....chk farmers almanac for exact amounts day/day....

everyone should have a few 5gl 3footers on their deck after august for some extra headstash:joint:or to see the finish on them new seeds-

Like I said before, I'm a newbie. So, sorry for all the dumb questions. Right now Im vegging in sponges. All in a dome under cfl's. Tomorrow I wanted to put them in dixie cups and keep them under the cfl's for 1 more week before I plant them outside, but was wondering what kind of soil to use. I'm vegging them with diamond nectar. Should I get organic soil? I read that its not good to use miracle grow cause I'm already using diamond nectar. Is this correct? Thanks guys

I live in michigan and I put 4 plants outside on June 5th. They were about a foot tall. On
July 5th I put out 4 more. They were about 10 inches tall. I'm expecting them to start flowering in the next 30 days or so. In Mi we will no reach a period of 12/ 12 (daylight-darkness) until sept 22nd. However from past experience I've had plants
start to flower in late July or early August when the days start to gradually get shorter.
Keep us posted and let us know how they are doing
