Whats up RIU

Had a day off today and felt like sharing some pics of my current attempt at growing 3 Mandala Safari mix seeds outdoors here in India.

- 3 Mandala seeds Safari Mix females

- Popped the seeds around 15th August. They all showed sex between 2nd-7th October

- Growing in Coco/Perlite/Vermiculite mixture

- Feeding General Hydroponics 3 Part fertilizer, with some added calmag on 2 occassions so far. So far PPM has never crossed 750 when I feed.

- Neem oil sprays for pest control. Thinking about trying some bio-insecticides since neem alone seems better at preventing rather than curing the problem.

- So far I have not PHd the nutes or water. Just got a PH meter today, will be watching it from now on.

Thats about it, I guess this is as simple as it can get!

Heres a pic of all three of them together:-

PLANT No. 2- This looks a little bit more like a Hybrid of Sativa and Indica

15th October 2015 : - This is when I had a bit of a problem because I fed too much N

22 October 2015 : - The clawing because of too much Nitrogen is still there, but new growth is okay

Plant No. 3 : - This is the weakest looking out of the three. Again looks more like a Sativa dominant plant. This one is growing in a Hempy bucket, but I Don't think that has anything to do with how big/strong it is.

That's about it for now. Will post more pictures in a week or 10 days time.

Cheers guys and hope everyone has a great harvest!

Thanks!

I'm in North India , just hope they don't take too long to finish, winters are upon us!

I have been reading your rooftop grow thread and thinking I will also try to grow them outdoors in soil next summer. The only worry I have with soil is that I will be stuck if it develops any deficiencies

Cool, I will get over to the Northern section one day. Give soil a try. Read throught he organic section here on the first page there is some good info. Not sure what you mean by stuck if any deficiencies? If things develop you fix them with other organic nutrients, simple. Its really only as hard as you make it.
