A few questions before I get started next month in southern ontario.

5 x RQS Sweet Zkittlez Outdoor grow
1 Gal - 3 Gal - 25 Gal Fabric Pots
Local soil mix of top soil, peat moss, compost, and loam

Gaia Green 4.4.4 for veg
Gaia Green 2.8.4 for Flower
Compost tea every 3 weeksish

Questions

1. Would it be better to use the nutrients by mixing it directly into the soil @ 3 tbsp per gal or should I just top dress @ 2 tbsp per gal? Should I pre load the soil and cook it or is that not necessary?

2. Will using the 4.4.4 in the 1 Gal be to early for young plants to handle?

3. Is topping neccessary outdoors. If I do not need to control the height of my plants is topping them worthwhile outdoors?

Thanks in advance for all the answers and opinions. This is my third grow and I am always looking to improve.

I use a different brand of pre blended nutes but I dont add seedlings to my amended soil until 2 weeks old.

However I follow the directions for how much to mix into the soil. Mine is 3 pounds for every cubic foot.
I also follow directions on top dressing every month like it says to do. Yours may be different.
I never have had to cook the soil before... never had any problems in doing it this way.

Topping and training is not just about controlling height... there are several reasons to train a plant.
