Hi guys,
My plants (5 plants) are 127 days old and I'd like to know if they're soon ready to harvest? They've got these hairs on the buds and they look alright I think, but I really need some advice here.IMG_1004.PNGIMG_1006.PNGIMG_1007.PNGIMG_1008.PNGIMG_1009.PNGIMG_1010.PNG HDhed.jpgHDhed1.jpgHDhed2.jpgHDhed3.jpgWhat do you guys think???

There getting there but they should grow alot more and pistils will start to die back. Also grab a scope and check the tricomes.

Thanks for the quick reply!! How much longer do you think they need? The clima soon turns cold where I live so I'd really like to harvest them soon if its possible. I don't really understand what you said about the pistils though..

As posted, 3 or 4 more weeks (bring 'em in at night if you can, or tent them if you can't). Buds swell up during their last weeks and that's also when most of the trichomes mature. So pick em early and you will miss their potential potency.

The pistil comment means look at all those light colored pistils (the white hairs). They will turn amber/brown when the bud is more "done" and you will see only a few light pistils, as they should be predominately dark at harvest time.

Good luck

Get yourself a x30 - x60 jewelers loupe with light built in, they are very inexpensive. Every one who enjoys growing this plant should have 1 in there arsenal. I think people say microscope but they are meaning loupe.

Rold2Tight, thanks for the info man! I'll get a closer look at the pistils then! What happens if the temperature gets below 0 Celcius at night? I think i might get one of these, UnknownGrowerr!!!! THANKS!!

Anyone know if they can survive if its freeeeezingg?
is there anyway you can bring them in? are they in pots? if not in the past I've built mini greenhouse over mine using those pound in metal fence posts and draping 4mil plastic over them. Then I placed lots of fresh compost around the plants to give off heat. What I did was pound in 4 metal posts around the plant them strung wire around them high enough to clear the plants them draped the plastic over the wire making a cozy little greenhouse for the plant. Watch closely because it can get so warm in there with the compost heating action and will form condensation which in return could cause mold. Make a vent to solve this.

So this is how they look now. It's been raining a lot and a lot of wind as well. Tomorrow there's coming a storm so I had to take them out ofthe soil and inside. Can anyone tell me if it's possible just to get "SOME"out of these plants?
