Outdoor Flowering Help Needed

Good idea about the lady bugs. Looking at one of my plants the other day and happy to see a happy and healthy looking praying mantis. Love keeping bugs and spiders at bay without the nasty chemicals necessary if you get an infestation. Get rid of any and all spider webs you see. Keep PWM to a minimum as well to help prevent bud rot later on. Keep the bottoms of you plants defoliated too to help reduce bugs and improve air flow. Get rid of small, and/or crossing branches. And as someone once said, ”don’t grow small buds!” Meaning get rid of all lower, interior branching that will only produce small, airy buds. Keep the energy focused on the tops and grow donkey dicks!

OB, you did great to get those buds with that challenging technique. Bravo. The moths treated your beautiful buds as a birthing center...you are well on your way. Lots to learn, a super fun hobby, and sites like this show you how much we like to help. Things will stick along the way, and that will become the way you roll. Art, science and love.

Thanks dude, it is a crazy amount of fun. This site has been super helpful. My clones of this one are already doing well so it wasn’t too heartbreaking to bail on this one because of mold.
what type of bug is that in your picture? I tried to zoom but it gets blurry.

Dude there’s so many worms I’ve been picking off. Some of the buds got completely raped but most are clean. Thanks for pointing that out I’m going to go take care of it
I have found that those specific trees that get tackled heavies by the worms are good to keep and plant a bit away from your other ladies. When you leave the specifically tasty tree for the worms they will tend to leave your other trees alone.
Works for me and many of my colleagues.
You might have noticed that even some of the trees of the exact same strain didn't get tackled as heavily as some others. Not sure what them butterflies like so much, but I have noticed that certain plants draw them more than others. Specifically sweet tasting smokes

If you catch the rot early in a bud and it is up near the top, you can just play surgeon and use sharp scissors to cut from just below the rotted part. Just make sure you cut a bit of the unaffected bud, too. It can still mature and be good to go. But never smoke rotted or moldy bud. When in doubt, throw it out.
When you get a certain amount of mouldy and budrot buds, it becomes a valid idea to look into making bubble hash with ice and water out of it. That way you wash away the dirt and screen out only the best glands.
Better than total wastage ❤

My friend. It is all bad. Every pic you posted has rot in it.

Imo that whole plant needs to be sealed in a bag and thrown in a yard waste bin.

Ok, that’s what I figured :/ this is some stuff I picked and dried earlier before a majority of the rot showed up. Should I bail on this too?
Bru, I would suggest looking into making hash or oil from that bud. That's a lot of medicine to waste!
Personally I would go for Buble hash with water and ice. Wash off the dirt and filter out the glands.

Thanks, I'll look into it. But is what I have unsafe to smoke? If its not safe to smoke is it ok to use other ways like bubble hash?
I tossed the obviously rotted buds and kept these since they were pretty separate and looked ok to me.

Bubble hash looks like the best options for me as well. Hope you get something out of the poor wormed ladies!!

I would not recommend smoking Ng the mouldy bud just like that. The spores don't burn away in the smoke. The are more hardy than that... Not good to breath that in
