Anything from 5 gallon buckets to tractor tires laid down. Depends on strain, how long you are going to veg etc.

Medium these yellowing plants are in? Strain? What are you feeding if anything

I have several green house farms in Cali. I grow indoors as well but my passion is my green houses. What are your end goals. I personally don't use gigantic pots in my green houses. I like to keep the plants growing above soil. So sticking small plants in a large pot doesn't make sense for my grow season. Little plants in big pots take time to fill the pot with roots....which slows things down above ground. I personally like to use around 3.5 cubic feet of soil in the final pot. I can still achieve massive plants and the pot size isn't so big it takes up to much space. So around 30 gallons in final pot does everything I need. Yes I have to water a bit more often but it's the perfect size for my expectations at chop. If your guna start super early with supplemental lighting then the skies the limit. But if your looking to get big plants quick ....solo cup to 2 gallon pots then into 30s works awesome for me. I use smart pots and I modify them so I can literally plant the smart pot and all when I pot up. The 2 gallon gets planted directly into the 30 gallon. Theplants don't miss a lick doing this. I basically cut the smart pots in a way that I can fold them open and plant them into the big pots. The roots grow out of these flaps and into the new soil. Best part is I can still use the 2 gallon smart pots for several grows even with the cuts in them. As far as your yellowing. I seen you were using Fox Farms....I use to use Fox Farms religiously. But nowadays they just aren't the same company in my eyes. I suggest you find a better line of soil in the future. I started using roots organic 707. It's really good and priced well. All my green houses and indoor use roots organic now. The only Fox farm product I use still is there seed starter mix. Which I mix with other stuff for babies.

GL my fellow Cali green house grower. Keep em cool

Keep it cool and keep it clean. Indacouch can fill you in on what you face in California. Caution with any live plants from outside coming in. Clones from outside included.
