Hey guys,i wanna know if its possible to start an autoflowering strain outdoors now,and i'd like to know if it will flower without having 12 hours of light.
Where i live has around 9-10 hours of light right now.And 20 °c.

sorry if my questions are obvious :/

Thanks!

it will flower but be smaller with less yield, depending on how much and strong light it gets. GL

I have auto out right now and it is doing fine but I have herd yield will suffer from the lack of light so you might want to put a light on it at night if you can and I didn't let mine cause I thought it would flower to early or something idk but I problem should have mine is like 2 feet just one straight up shoot so it's problem just gana be one fatt cola also use a smart pot if u can get one for it like a 5 gallon those things work really well

even with lower light and shorter days, it will flower unless it's not a true auto. take off the zero on your yield estimate and the number will be closer to the actual yield. GL

You'll get like 40G's if you keep it healthy all way through. 9 Hours is alot of sun.
Plus if you LST it.:leaf:

I like the way you're thinking, but "Siberian" isn't named because it really comes from any kind of colder climate...that being said - it will probably do ok. Indica & Ruderalis genes seem to help Auto's thrive in pretty cold climates.

Here's what I have grown in the outdoors winter of the southwest US over the last few years- Short Stuff "Blue Himalaya" - Barneys Farm "Flower Power" - World of Seeds "Sweet Coffee Rider" - Paradise Seeds "Automaria II" - Big Buddha "S.A.S." and even a non-auto Dinafem "Blue Widow".

All did ok & were left outside unless temps dropped below 32 deg F. - and even then, were just pulled up on a covered porch where it wasn't freezing. One tip I will pass on, - really keep your soil light with perlite - you want it to drain super fast so that that soil isn't too wet and cold for too long. Your plants will respond much better. This will work and is worth doing. Having a couple of normal plants on that patio is great camo - even if they're plastic.

Good luck. Auto smoke is a great body buzz & your sleep will be super refreshing.

PS - LST on an auto works fine. A couple of holes in the edge of your pot to thread some string through - I use a cotton "kitchen" twine that is used to tie roasts and turkeys and the like. You can dye it with coffee or a magic marker so that the whiteness doesn't attract curiosity.....
