I have scouted out everywhere to plant around here. There is only one spot where I won't have to harvest early and is far from where I reside.
Only problem is that the only way to get there is I have to park at a restaurant/bar and walk across a road. I would feel scared like I am being watched if I visited every two weeks. Any ideas? Should I just do it? This is the only place to park or else I would look even worse by being some car on the side of the road.

Also would making a trip wire work to see if people visit the area? Tie a fishing line low to the ground between two trees and hopefully it will be low enough but high enough for them to trip or break it. It is a 15lb spool. All I have extra.

Could you park even further away, maybe at a grocery store or something and bike in? You could dscreetly head into the woods when no cars are around that way. Just an idea

MrHowardMarks great advice .. but i'm not using my vehicle to transport it.. my only way for transport as of now is some regular backpacks and 2 friends that i've had for 10 years... they each have a backpack and bike.. so thay can help.. i'll give them a nice chunk to make it worth the risk and trouble.. also i have now decieded on having 14-18 6ft tall indica plants.. scatered around the area.. each plant will be about 10 ft away from eachother.. i will also dig down about 3'x3'x3' area for a hole for the plants roots to grow out easily... i was planing on buying 2 bucket of time release fert at my local hardware store... i will buy one that's 10-10-10 for veg and another that's 3-7-10 for flowering.. as for transport goes i'll be drying the plants outdoors in a small plastic shack that has already been constructed.. and been buried in old trees and mosses and painted so that it's invisable.. once they are dry i will cut the buds off the main stem and put them in a black garbage bags in the backpacks... i will leave all of the main stems and fan leaves at the site and i will tear up all the root balls so that there is no suprise growth.. i will have a hole dug so i can just toss this stuff into it to decompose... we will then walk out half hour or so and then bike the other half hour... we will bring the bud to the place that we will finish drying it and cure it... i will be curing in buckets.. i have tubs that range from 5gallon buckets with seal lids to tabacco tubs and other small buckets that i will cure in.. when i'm finished curing i will take all the buds and put them in ziplock bags and seal by sucking all the air out of them.. i will then stack the bags in the 5gallon bucket with the seal on lid...
Does this plan sound alright? if you can make any comments or sudgestions please do so..

Well that sounds like a good idea on checking on them but thats like the only place around. I think I can park in some housing area nearby and then bike. The way I plan on getting them there is in a fishing lure box. There is a river near that area and I can park off the road like other cars do sometimes and just pretend like I am going fishing. Should work.

But will the fishing line work?

^Your whole plans good but personally i wouldn't want to leave that unattended in an
"invisible" plastic shack to dry, but if you can get away with growing it then you should be able to get away with drying it.Good luck

I am planning a very similar approach to the season as you are highwayman.

I've got about 20 non-femanized seeds, half power skunk and half of some outdoor cali bagseed. I'm planning on starting the seedlings indoors in rockwool under fluorescent lighting until they're about a foot tall. Then transplanting them into holes in the ground then filling the holes with miracle grow organic potting soil combined perlite and water crystals. Ill be covering the plants in a homemade fencing to keep out unwanted pest. My goal is from 12-16 oz per plant.

i might do a guerrilla grow next year.i plan germinating seeds til they crack then im going to plant them in the ground a couple feet away from a small stream i found in the perfect area just 1 plant at a time .and im not going to water them at all.im only going to be able to go out there a couple times.once to plant and once to harvest.can i expect at least 1 to survive like this?

depends if its good soil, light, access to water via hydrolics or good old fashioned rain, and people or animals/ other pests stumbling upon it (deer and rabbits love pot). the three things you can do is get good soil, trim anything that might limit light and use netting around your plants if you do that you could have a good harvest if it rains. this guy can help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXHfkXds0E0

woods near residential areas are nice if you can find them theres not as much trafic
I found a place just like this. There is also a river running along side it.

I was wondering if a place like this would work well. Would there be any people walking around out there? I don't expect them to but you never know.

i dont think so just try not to let people see you going back there. people leave traces they were there, pathes, footprints, trash. if you go 200+ yrds in you shouldnt find that. if it seems untravelled 50-100 yrds just to be safe. but your place sounds good

Im currently looking for a plot myself. I'm down in the south and trying to decide between looking for a state park or finding some nice private property.
