Use caution if it's shared with anything else like a water heater, range or furnace.
Just make sure you still have neg pressure at the other inlets after installing.
I have done this, it works but you need to make sure you do it right or you can kill yourself from carbon monoxide. Make sure you're not choking the exhaust if your heating system

I ran the flex ducting from the lights to metal ducting going out the room to the top of the boilers exhaust that goes into the chimney. The air flow needs to pull the exhaust from your heating system vs choking your heating system and having the exhaust exhausting in your living area.
