out of electrical tape...will masking tape work?

so i have this 5v computer fan hooked up to a 5v phone charger and i want to get this set up tonight but need to rap it in tape and am out of electrical tape. i have 2 other types of tape 1 is a clear packing tape that smells like vinager and 1 that is whiteish/yellowish masking tape.
which 1 of these 2 tapes(if any) will work the best?

I wouldn't use either, spend a buck or two tomorrow and get yourself some e tape from the convenience store, better safe than on fire!! eh!

Electrical tape. Your gonna burn your house down. Imo I wouldn't cut corners when it comes to electricity.

Ya no jokes man, it's pretty dangerous using other tape and you leave yourself really susceptible to fire the risk you would take totally out weighs the cost of the tape ..ya know.......all the best on your grow man!

ya i would rather wait a day and spend 2 bucks than have a fuckin fire.
