So they are giving away a free vaporizer and cookbook. How is that they can promote something that's not legal? I mean when I cook with mj, I concentrate it first and as far as I know that's illegal (except in bc).

That 2nd picture of the room....shows quite a bit of fallen leaf on the floor....all along the length of the grow...
maybe they need to hire a sweeper...
or hopefully not the future shake product available...once they move their already sold out buds...
They didn't mention in the video whether or not they irradiated....

Wait what?

OrganiGram in Moncton has sold out of its medicinal marijuana product before the facility has even opened.
So where did they grow their weed ? They wont ship till Feb but are already looking into a bigger facility.

Quite amusing how most of the companies are more concerned about acquiring bigger and bigger facilities yet they never have any stock for long. So is most of it have to be destroyed as it no good and only a fraction goes to be sold?

i think that's just wrong wording, they meant to say before they shipped, not opened. they got their license a while back. they are shipping to people on their waitlist starting end of this month, says clearly in the article

“We’ve cultivated our first crop about two weeks ago and it’s currently curing and we will be able to ship the product in a couple of weeks,” said Denis Arsenault, CEO of OrganiGram. “We are currently under construction now to more than double our capacity. And we’ll have another expansion that will be started October 1 to add another large section onto the building.”

i'm assuming the sold out part is referring to their waiting list, similar to WMMC they could have a lengthy one that needs to be worked through and is large enough to buy whatever they will be producing before expanding is done. haven't seen them say they will irradiate, and i think LP's are obligated to say so if they do right?

I mean when I cook with mj, I concentrate it first and as far as I know that's illegal (except in bc).
then don't concentrate it first? health canada clearly identifies vaporizing and ingesting as viable routes of delivery compared to smoking on their website. they only directly restrict EXTRACTS (which is overruled in BC or whatever), not vaporizing and making edibles. correct me if im wrong.

lol who said anything about buying trim or them selling trim? it's buds :s some sugarleaf excess going on there for sure tho

I can't watch this for some reason

trim could be better but when the buds are dry the little left sugarleaf should just takes seconds to get off so hopefully they do that before final shipment

Thanks for the link it worked.

I don't know how you make banana bread, but I take my meds and EXTRACT the medicinal properties into butter then I bake my bread. If I want to make salad dressing, I EXTRACT into olive oil. Other than eating it raw, which I don't, how do you ingest your meds without extracting and concentrating?

And I could care less that it's illegal.

as far as i know thats not illegal, by extracts they are referring to hash oil made using butane or rubbing alcohol, not edible extracts. someone else can correct me if they know otherwise but this is my understanding

That is fucked to start splitting that hair IMO. If you have to extract to cook or want to blow it in whatever contraption....I just don't see the difference. A concentrate is a concentrate - you get there by extraction.

making butter to cook with is different than making 99% budder.. i get what you guys are saying.. it's still concentrating. i think the buds look great, it had some nice coloring to it and lots of crystals.

Making edibles is very illegal and was the basis for the "tasty cookies" case in BC. Edible baking can include tossing ground leaf, using nothing but crappy trim that was already washed making water hash, or you could actually use your best quality buds for a butter extraction of some sort. You then cook with the infused fat, which opens up a wider variety of potential uses for it.

Make no mistake that when health Canada tells you it can be ingested, they quite literally mean chewing on the bark, because f u. As a medical user in canada you have no right to effective edibles under the mmpr.
