Organic Wonder Woman CFL Grow!

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum so i figured i would start a thread involving one of my new found favorite strains. Nirvana's coveted high yeilding skunk, "Wonder Woman."So, let me explain how and what promted this grow. One day while myself and my wife were at the store and we noticed that Miracle Gro, like Foxfarms and Advanced Nutrients, had put out an organic feed line. Now, i have NEVER had a good experince growing cannabis in Miracle Gro Nutrients or Soil. The nutes always tend to burn the plants. On top of which, miracle grow Flower/Grow formulas have the exact same ph and chemical composition. Not the make for a quality sensimilla plant. Although, as i read the pacaging of the organic line i figured, what the hell? I had some extra cash and time to kill. I also figured, i have never grown under a compact florecent. Only T8/HPS/MH bulbs. So we loaded up on four 26w 6500k CFL bulbs(Vegg), eight 23w 2700k bulbs(Flower), and the entire Miracle Gro Organic Line. That means blood meal, bone meal, soil Mix, & liquid feed. As i returned home i noticed that the soil mix, had no airation, no perlite, and no sand, just peatmoss...usless...so i improvised. I took all of the nutes, some potting sand, perlite, soil mix, and made my own formula as one would for any soil grow. I setup my little store-bought experiment in was on hand at the time, a 4ftX2.5ft wardrobe box(LOL!). After i got my gorw space setup, i stuck two fans in the box one in & one out i also laid some extra mylar in the entire box, a shotty job on my part. But hey, it works f**k it. After 24 hours in germ i planted my girls in peat pellets and they sprung forth. I started with 5 seedlings, 2 did not make it into vegg and i was left with three. Upon the end day of 7 weeks in vegitation, 2 of my ladies were moved into flower, the other was left in vegg for clones. The two skunky girls have been sitting in flower for 3 weeks now. Left only to the course of the Miracle Gro nutes, and as you can see in the pictures, has been working exeptionally well by my standards. I have also been using another store bought nutrient, SUPERTHRIVE! The standby of any seasoned grower of course! All organic and a great, yeild, scent, foliage, and root enhancer.
You might be asking at this point, "why leave one in vegg?" Well, after the first seedling popped the ground, i began to love this strain. So much i left one under some CFL's to become a mother plant for clones. It goes without mentioning that she is doing wonderfully. As for the two in flower, one had been topped and the other left to its course. I did this to examine how to get bigger yeilds from a CFL. Oddly enough, the non-topped plant, looks lke its yeild will be larger. I will add on an entire chronical of photos for all to see. If anyone has questions on the nutes, tecniques, or just a basic inqury, shoot it my way.

P.s. This grow is 100% LEGAL thanks to the Cannibus Consultants of Nevada, Las Vegas. Always check with your local laws before you start down the path of cannabis cultivation.

Those Pictures were from the 7 weeks in vegg, the following are from day 1 and week 3 of flower. Along with that there are pictures of the plant at 7-10 weeks into vegitation. I figured id throw some background on the strain up as well. So, here it goes..."Wonder Woman" is one of Nirvana's highest yeilding skunk breeds. She is a very potent 60/40 F1 mix of the 1998 Cannabis Cup winner "Ice" along with Nothern Lights, Afgani, Skunk, Top 44, and Shiva. Nirvana swears by the high yeild, and the long smooth buzz accociated with this breed 700g per 600w light. This, is quite obviously not obtainable via CFL lights but the yeild can be improved if more nutes were added. The THC levels are about 15%-20% and the dense white buds produce a marginally large amount of resin glands. Granted, the plant has only been in 3 of 9 weeks in flower so theres gonna be a ways to go before one would see a large amount of tricombs. As you can tell by the pictures, these plants started out very indica in appearance. But, now as flowering and maturation set their course, they're sativa genes are realy starting to pertrude. The buds have a yellowing tint but overall are a frosty white color with very little foliage along the budsites.

Hello RIU!
Just coming by to drop some info on the strain. Well, its been a great grow so far. The buds are getting nice and big under the CFL bulbs. The top cola's on the plants are getting friggin massive since they're in such close proximity to the lights. Im not hoping for much of a harvest, considering the low-light conditions, but, its gonna be some really nice tasty bud. The plants scent has moved to a VERY intense tropical fruit sort of aroma followed by some nice skunky hue's with an all around green undertone. Two more weeks of grow left. I think im gonna go one more week on a spray nutrient regiment then its gonna be off to strait flush followed by no water or nutes for the last 3 days. Hope this helps any other growers contemplating buying this strain!

Best Wishes,
AyesopJock
