Ok, so I guess i can no longer avoid it, i'm hooked and its time for my first thread. Before i get into all the ins and outs, let me briefly explain my "op". I run a 90% organic Perpetual SOG, using the Canna Fertilizer line and DNF Enhance as an additive to build the immunities of my plants against molds along with many other benefits. I have 2 rooms, a veg room with my mothers and little girls, and a larger, and more entertaining, bloom room. I have 4 mothers, two strains i purchased from WWMZ, KC Brains Mind Bender, and KC Brains Cyber Cristal. I have two more from a previous grow that i regenerated because they were a couple fantastic phenos. I use a 70 site supercloner for all my cuttings, with 100% success, a wonderful investment for any serious hobbiest. My veg room can hold up to 60 baby girls, i keep two cycles going about 70% of the time. My bloom room keeps, well it holds alot (confidential information...) I'll also see if i can figure out how to attach some damn pics...

The great thing about the Perpetual SOG is i always have a cycle of chron ready, about every two weeks i crop 16 plants. that doesnt sound like alot, but i'm doing that all year round. 52 weeks a year, 26 crops of 16 plants, thats a total of 416 plants a year, in about a 10x10 space. Now thats give or take, one of my strains only takes 50-55 days, so i gain a little time there. there have even been SOG methods done in closets, and boxes, the key is to maximize your space, the more plants per sq foot the better.

Looks pretty solid man, How long do you veg for? and are all your plants in bloom the same age or do you have more cycles to do 2 week harvests? and how bout lighting too.

i veg until my plants are 10", then they go into my bloom room. Most of my plants are at different stages, you need to have at least 6 separate cycles to have a harvest every 2 weeks. you can adjust the qty per cycle to however many plants you can fit. i use 400w HPS ballasts, i have a low ceiling so my lights are pretty close to the plants and i lose less lumens.

and here are a few of my bloom room...
Hey i just have two questions for you. How high did you flower them and how high are they from pot to top at harvest? Im doing a sog myself and just a little curious of someone elses personal method of it. I started mine at about 10 inches and i only have about 2 feet totall in my cabinet for plant growth. Think ill be good?

first of all thanks! i start flowering them at about 10", i have a bank of lights that are half the distance to the ground (about 2ft) that i put my clones under, that helps fight some of the stretch in the first couple weeks of flower, however they still will get to be about 3 and a half ft when i crop. what type of light are you using, how big is your grow space? you might benifit from a mini forest, as Mr Rosenthal calls it. thats where you dont even veg your clones, as soon as they have a root system they are transfered right into bloom, that cuts about 10 days off your cycle. with that you've got 6" canopies, and will have a box (or closet) full of tops...

Yup got to give it up. 3.5? hmm shit, well i guess i could be a lil high so i might have to improvise. Im starting with cfls, right now i have a lil over 200 watts of 2700k cfls, and am going to add another 100 watts in a couple days. Yeah i heard of that method your talking of, the mini forest, or i think ssog (small sea of green) might work. So what do you think that would do to the yeild per plant though? i have, like i said 24 inches so i could grow them a lil higher than 6, next time around i think im going to try 3 or 4 inches, and this was the origanal plan, but my flower box wasnt finished as soon as planned, had a :joint: or two to many. :peace:

Thats a mini forest is an intresting idea though, anyone flowered from seed to harvest to vouch such a small plant?
Would you add a touch of blue for vegging it a bit?

let me answer one post at a time, upinchronic, i dont think you would use seeded plants for our mini forest idea, a powercloner of some kind would be best. then you could root your cuttings, transplant them, i would give them 2 days of 24 hour light then throw them into the bloom room. as for yield per plant, once you get a feel and can get them right to 24" cramming a bunch of 6" square pots in there, you could probably get 1/4-1/2 oz per plant... if you add CO2, the possibilities are greater. if you start to get worried about your plants getting too tall, you can always top them back a couple nodes a couple weeks into flower, you wont really lose out on yield, it will prevent from having burned tops closer to harvest. between 6-7" would probably be good for your box, what're the dimensions?

ok, thewr#1, i wouldnt call canna coco an "advanced grower" line. it actually takes alot of the guesswork out growing... for someone like me who has toiled with PH, and nutrient deficiencys for a long time, i havent had any problems since i switched. i should get paid to sell this shit...! Before i go into detail is Canna available to you, or is it an off brand coco line?

im not sure of the dimensions exactly but te height from top pot (the biggest pot that would fit 4 pots in the cabinet) (i have 2-3 gallon pots)to the bottom of the light fixture is about 24 inches. Yeah i got to get used to the clone idea, im still a newbe to growing, this will be my first so yeah clones are just the way to go, i know. Yeah those heights sound good. Your height a little over trippled on your plants so im going to keep it on the safe side, 6".
to avoid topping, since it slows growth, and would decrease yeild ( i guess ???, smaller plant = smaller yeild???), i think i will bend the buds in a corkscrw manner up the cabinet, so well so how that works out.
