How do you like the new crop?
So far I'm quite pleased with the addition of the Kalashnikova, as long as the skunky one finishes for me I know I'm going to be pleased with her, the Blue Mystic is a mystery. She has such fat stems and leaves I expect some fat buds as well but stem rubs are doing little for me at this point. The SB is as she always is....and the entire room is SO FUNKY  When you open the door it slaps you in the face, this morning it seemed to be even more intense than usual and I'm praying that my carbon scrubber is up to the task

My next run is going to be quite interesting as well with the addition of a very nice white widow, train wreck and an AMAZING cross that I got from a friend :bigjoint:

The Strawberry Blue has been the funkiest vegging plant I've seen so far. I am overdue for a filter replacement myself. I don't know what you normally use, but these are AWESOME! http://greengatorfilters.com/ They are not exactly cheap, but worth every bit. (and the magnetic collar is the BOMB!) I freaked out around the house for a little while last year until I found them :bigjoint:. I think @The Gator would like what you've got going on. He's a nice guy, likes the bud porn, and will help you out with anything you need! You've enlarged your growing space a bit (I think), so it is easier than ever to scale upward on the scrubbing if you decide to upscale the space again. I won't recommend anything else. He's never given me anything or paid me a penny. (I haven't exactly asked either). I have two identical fans and ran a cheaper filter on one. The Green Gator allowed me to turn the fan down to half the speed and still did a better job than the one that ran full power in the same size tent. Pre-filters show even pulling of particles unlike that heavy, dark ring that's close to the fan end of most cans. No dust to clog your fans, runs better at higher humidity levels, etc. I will stop with the advertisement, or he MIGHT have to pay me. Seriously, it is a far SUPERIOR product.

@ GreatBranch - Yes i do enjoy the bud porn :-).

@MD914 - Sweet Thread! You have a nice set-up. If you ever want to talk filters, just let me know. In the meantime im going to hang around and check out what happens on your grow. Looks like its going to be a great time, and i always look forward to learning how people set up their rooms.

BTW - The Gnome is awesome!

Thanks Gator
I'll be doing updates at least once a week. This is a new setup for me so there's plenty of room for improvment...
Dude (my gnome) sucks as an assistant but he's certainly a cool cat ;)

You will notice that I pushed more than he did...lol. I wouldn't have tagged him otherwise. He GENUINELY likes to watch. He does pretty well with abuse too. ;)

Sweet, yes. I guess I was talking about volume of smell. I'm not used to there being much of an odor coming from the veg area sans stem rubbing...huh, huh...STEM rubbing...huh, huh.

LOL also true. One of these days ill start to comment more, i just don't know much about growing (Im learning more from this site every day.). I can talk filters for hours though
So he's the quiet type that likes to watch? ;)

That stem rubbing is child's play @greatbranch
Next time your rubbing that stem take it firmly between your fingers and give it a squeeze, twist it and when you feel it's wet juices all over your fingers slowly bring them to your nose so you can savor the complex aroma from all the nastiness that she's leaked all over you ;)

:o

Stem rubs in veg can be deceiving. You usually pick up the scents from your nutes during this stage. Not a happy smell when you are using manure for ferts. Scared the shit out of me when my stem rubs all smelled like shit!

Right now my clone cab smells like fish guts!

When they start flowering you will be knocked out. I am sure the Quaker Jiz (QJ) will give you some amazing terpene profiles.

Cheers,
Mo

I was away for the weekend and when I returned and opened the door...the angels were singing
Day 7  Since the flip I've given nothing but water and the EnviroKure soil builder. I believe they are renaming it PK-13 but can't be sure until I get my new bottle (hopefully tomorrow)
First half of my screen is the Kalashnikova
View attachment 3329723 The other half...SB, skunk/cheese and Blue Mystic

I don't normally like to mix strains on a scrog but this sounded like a lot of fun and I had the space so here goes :bigjoint:
The troops:

The 9 girls in the first 2 rows are Kalashnikova from clone then we have 7 Strawberry Blue also from clone and then a Blue Mystic and an old skunk/cheese strain from seed. I will not be spending any time vegging on this screen...I'm flipping my lights in the morning

I'm using an amended FFOF soil and will be giving teas and topdressings. I'm also using a new product, Enviro Kure (soil builder) I'm hoping it will be available before I use up the rest of my sample...it's seriously good shit
I constructed my screen from PVC pipe and PINK string (cause I'm a chic) (:
It isn't perfect but it's going to get the job done. I'm ALMOST done running my string but cut me some slack...I've been busy :bigjoint:

I'm also one light short until tomorrow...
I'm considering draping some poly from the frame above to keep more light where I want it. This will certainly be a work in progress.
And this is "Dude"

Dude is my assistant. He watches over the garden for me ;)
You got a space that I'm deeply envious of, a gnome too. I'm about to do a mixed scrog too so very interested!
