Organic Hydro...Is there such thing?

This question has always puzzuled me- are you doing anything for your hydro garden by adding organic nutrients (i.e. Floralicious Plus, sweetners, etc.). I'm currently on my third hydro grow right now and have always added a variety of different organics nutrients in addition to my regular ionic nutrients (Canna Aqua and Canna Flores). It just dawned on me after reading countless organic threads that inorder for true organic nutrients to be effective you need to have a medium that supports bacteria, enzymes, and other microbial activity. So what I'm getting at is- what is the point of using organics in a soiless medium like clay pellets? Since there is nothing in my soiless medium to breakdown these complex organic molecules, then does that mean I'm wasting my money to throw them in the mix? I'm begining to lean toward only using ionic nutrients for hydro, for they are already in the form that roots can absorb.

For those who have experience in both realms (organic and inorganic) what are your ideas on this question?

There's a difference between bottled organics n true living organics. Basically if u use microbes and whatnot in hydro you either use compost tea or you have every little thing dialed in perfectly (temp, reverse osmosis water, aeration) creating a rhizosphere is much tougher in hydro than soil. Imo if u want organic hydro its easiest with bottled nute organic lines. I still promote microbes but I don't depend on em

Would the high salt concentrations and pH as low as 5.5 destroy the microbs in a compost tea? I'm starting to think that I'm doing more bad than good by mixing inorganic and organic together. What are your thoughts on this? In addition, I feel like the clay pellets are too airy and just not capable supporting a rhizoshpere.

Most bottled nutes are synthetic, botanicare pure blend pro is as close too all organic as you can get and very low on salts.
