Organic grow with start of calcium deficiency?

Indoor grow in 7G fabric pots. Amended black gold organic soil with additional ewc, humus, and perlite. G13 varietal

Watering about every third day. Plants are starting to get thirstier

Plants are 5 weeks into vegetative growth. I am just now flipping to flower.

My water comes out of the tap at 7-7.2 with about 75 ppm calcium. I have mostly been watering with light supplements of calmag.
I was generally ph’ing the water down to 6.2-6.3. Light supplemental feeding with big bloom tea until recently.
I top dressed all 3 plants with a mix of fishbone meal, kelp meal, ewc, and dr earth flower girl. There has only been one watering since then.

This plant was showing a bit higher ph in runoff then my other 2(around 6.9). The difference is that I ran out of soil in the replant on this one and had to grab some black gold. The other 2 were ocean forest based62CEC0A0-AF00-4C14-A19D-7AE3F7B30344.jpeg

This is showing up on fan leaves, generally further up on the plant, and seemingly only on leaves that are getting some light.

Does this look like calcium/magnesium deficiency?

6.8 is what you want for soil not sure why you’re going so low.

your tap is neutral and no reason to ph. Waste of time, money, and possibly making your soil acidic.

I have been learning the "road to organic". When i started the grow i was unsure of what the ropes were, and have been learning quite a bit!
The calmag is not organic, but I'm gonna finish it and then switch over. Similarly, I was PH'ing my water until i learned that it wasn't necessary with a soil grow. I just wanted to include any info to be helpful.

Stop using the cal mag would my first suggestion.

If you need calcium bone meal is good. It’s high in P and calcium. Then I use Epsom for mag.

It could be ph it could be the cal mag. Use plain tap and you will eliminate one of them.

The weird thing is that this started a couple of days ago, and the only changes were the top dress and the water with no ph or calmag.
Also, this plants runoff is way higher than the other 2. It is around 6.9. The other 2 are 6.2-6.3

Less is more. You’ve top dressed with a lot and also put a lot into the soil via watering/drenches

with everything you’ve added in you’ll be fine with plain water. You don’t have to ph it imo.

Thanks. My plan is to only use water. I haven’t been ph’ing lately, but still measuring to see what is happening to the water through the soil. The one plant is in a different soil and seems like the ph maybe a bit higher.
It’s also a G13 strain and they are notorious for being nute hungry

The g13 haze I ran was very picky

That all sounds good and like a good plan moving forward.
I’m not saying it couldn’t be the calmag because I’m pretty new to much of this info. It seems unlikely because my calcium level is so low in my water and with the added calmag I’m still quite a bit lower than average water that people would use from a tap.

My thoughts are that it could be something from the top dress or an actual calcium deficiency, in which case the top dress should fix, given time

The top dress and things you gave it might have shocked the balance in the pot. Like said above plain water they will bounce back. Wait 2-3 weeks before giving them anything

My tap water is showing 8.7. Would that be acceptable?

You show us the whole plant and we can confirm whats already been said. Thats about it.

That happens to me when my light is too bright but that does not mean it applies to you also.
