Organic Grow from Lowes: Organic Soils and Nutes. Questions about solid nutes exc.

I got a fully organic pellet style solid nute. your supposed to mix into the top inch of soil and water in.

The PH of my miracle grow organic potting soil is in the high 7's.

How will this effect my grow if I dont add anything to bring it down?

Anyone tried nutes like this? Any good?

I buy all my soil supplies at Lowes...except for worm castings. But to be honest I havent bought any nutes except for fish elmusions from there. I use the MG organic garden soil, bone meal, blood meal, cow manure(in the yellow bag),lime, and peat moss(our Lowes sells big blocks of it for 10 bucks or so). All my plants seem pretty healthy.

For my money, you just can't beat Fox Farm's new organic soil. I grow bio and try to stay as organic as possible. Now with Fox Farm's soil, I no longer need to fertilize, just water when needed! It saves lots of time, money, and stoop labor. It's not cheap at $22.00 per bag (if you get at least 3 bags), but it actually SAVES money by eliminating the need for fertilizers. My plants are bigger, greener, and heavier since I started using Fox Farm soil. It's amazing! One bag goes a long way, as it's not filled with peat, which holds a lot of water for a short period of time. Fox Farm soil is dense and heavier then the regular peat-heavy mixes. For that reason, it doesn't dry out as fast, which translates into less labor. (Disclaimer: I have no financial interest or commercial connection to Fox Farm. If I heard someone going on about it like I just did, I would be suspicious about their motivations. I am just excited about a great new product that has improved my yield, saved me money, and lessened my work load!)

i also like to try & save my money shopping at lowes compared to the local hydro store. i still havent found a soil at lowes to work for me. my soil mix is as follows
5 parts FFOF
2 parts of an organic soil from lowes (ive used both the sta-green & mg)
1 part manure
2 parts perlite
1 part vermiculite

i started off using only the alaska fish & bloom fert from lowes & it was just ok. recently i started to add the bat guanos & molasses into my mix. also look into earth juice grow & bloom which is fairly inexspensive compared to most other organic 1 part

fox farm has recently moved its soil operations facility to a brandnew production site... quality has suffered in the move, or at least thats what the word on the street is.
and they quit selling the alaska fish emultion in the concentrate bottles at home depot, now all they have is the type that is made for a hose watering, like miracle grow liqui-feed system. im not sure if its the same product in a different package yet, or if the concentration is less or more yet either. i havent been to lowes in a few weeks tho (gasp!) they might still have it there.
i can never find perlite or vermiculite that i trust at either. thank god for the Co-Op

its not that serious.. FF is a great starting point. like i mentioned above, i started using peat, coco, compost, & now just ammend my own soils so the need for me to buy any soil is over & im doing well for myself.
