Hi,
I searched the forums a bit but found little info on my particular situation.
I'm tryn to grow clones outdoors but my plants seem to be getting a damping-off disease such as Rhizoctonia. I am unclear as to how they have gotten this, but I am trying to prepare a new batch of plants with the right fungicidal precautions. Anyone know of a good ORGANIC fungicide that controls Rhizoctonia?
Here is my backstory if you are interested:
I got a couple clones from the dispensary, both looked pretty healthy and had roots out the bottom...
Planted them in their own pots (using new potting soil and large pots with holes) and wanted to grow them outside on the back patio.
After planting I let them chill in the shade for a couple days to ween them into the sunlight.
Then I put them in direct sunlight....watered every 3-4 days with tap water or until the soil is completely dry a few inches down. I made sure that water would drain out the bottom of the pots. Plants looked healthy. I was planning to add a very small amount of nutrients to the water......but....
After a couple weeks (and some good growth), I noticed on BOTH plants I got a brownish area on the stem just above the soil line. I posted a thread on this with a pic to find out what it was and was told it could be damping-off disease, specifically Rhizoctonia (since the temp conditions are warm). I am not sure as to what could have caused this, but I'm assuming that is what it is. I have a picture and a thread on this here -> https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/343228-plant-stem-getting-brown-damping.html
