Organic coconut sugar

Heard of peeps using coconut water but not sure if it was to feed microbes or as a nutrient. Why not just use molasses? I ran out & was using maple syrup for a sucrose source for AACTs which seemed to work fine but honestly never knew there was such a thing such as coconut sugar or how it's made.

I ran out of in- sulfered molasses and it's coming up on my final flush and was looking for an organic sweetener . I think I will go with organic honey when I get my check tomorrow Low life with a low budget..... lol

Thanks y'all , I will go with yalls experience. Only molasses.
Why do you need to feed your micro herd ?
What are you feeding?
Water only soils?

You don't "need" to feed the herd.....they're doing just fine in a quality organic soil...
If you feed by organics. There is plenty of available carbs already in those feeds....
They have been adding carbs to synthetic nutrients to actually "feed" the bio's in soils and in many soilless media's with mycos added, like Sunshine Mix #4 and Pro Mix BX and such....Keeps them more active.

I water with AACT at soil build and at the up potting to bloom. I don't "need" to feed my herd.

At any rate. I use Dark Brown sugars to my own supplement formula's.

No reason you can't use that Coconut sugar!
The rule of thumb with refined carb source's (sugars) is to not use more then 1 1/2 tsp per gallon....that's the amount I use in my home made Sweet Raw and the Terpinator/Resinator formula's...It's the high limit I've seen used in bottled nutrients with carbs included in them.

Whatever source of sucrose you want to use is probly fine but pouring it onto your plants directly doesn't work as well as bubbling it in an AACT. Sugar feeds microbes but containers are not really the best environment for them which is why organic growers should always be replenishing their populations by brewing compost teas. Microbes & fungi have evolved deep in the earth down near the rhizoshpere of tall trees; they can only get into your soil if you inoculate them by adding composted material and/or granular mycorrhizae. Sugars do provide a food source but without a compost to aerate and dissolve in the water there's really not much else being added except sugars. That's how peeps get anaerobic soil and root rot.

I looked in terms and slang, what is AACT?

Active Aerated Compost Tea; if you want to grow organic try checking out some threads in the organic section. There is so much to learn young padwan...
Disclaimer - this response is long and only a small part deals with coconut sugar. I am seeking guidance from all, especially those with standard sour D experience.

I do a Heisenberg with ZHO, mycorrhizae, EWC and a little molasses ( 1 tsp per gallon) with a large saltwater air pump . I ran out of molasses and I am on a very tight budget and I have organic non-GMO coconut sugar or brown sugar. Commercial sugars , such as brown sugar have a high chance of GMO cane, beets or corn. I do my best to not use GMO products, long story longer. Yes , I have a lot to learn and hope to never stop looking for truly organic ways to grow indoors. i have only grown femanized autoflowers.i struggle with late flowering leaf deficiencies. I have been gifted a standard sour D and am trying to piece together a nutrient regimen for a standard sour D that is stable and reduces late flowering stress since I struggle with that with my autos. Side note: I have never had a hermie or a male from a feminized seed that I created for breeding purposes. Thank you for your time and experience . If you have experience in LST, pre scrog on a sour D . I would be grateful for your input. My sour D is in a 7 gallon poly bag with 15% coco, 10% clay hydro stones and 75% FFOF. I am using the FF grow trio ( gro big , big bloom and tiger bloom) on my autos and am currently using on the sour D I also use the bloom trio from FF which I plan to use on the sour D when I work out the stress factors from LST and scrogging before switching to 12/12 on the sour D. I think I should let it heal for 2 weeks after final training stress before forcing flowering.

Put what they need in the soil and you won't have to rely on teas to give your plants nutrients; just clean water. I've grown sour D many times along with several SD derivative strains. I also spent the last few years perfecting my LST tech; check out my link at the bottom if ya wanna see how I do it.
Most organic growers have trouble with late flower yellowing in the beginning but if you recycle your soil after each harvest and keep on adding compost and soil amendments your mix eventually reaches supernatural status. Teas help maintain the microherd & fungal populations but they do very little to actually feed your plants. You should be giving them mostly water, the occasional AACT, and maybe some calmag if you are using RO or distilled water sources but that's all. Synth nutes do more damage than good in organic soil.
You are using synthetic nutrients in an organic mix...FF trio will slowly kill off your microbes completely forcing you to continue using nutes through to harvest time. Big bloom all by itself IS safe for organics and a good base for brewing teas along with fresh earthworm castings which will replace some of the microbes that are dying off from using dissolved salts in your FFOF soil. Go get a bottle of neptunes harvest and EWC; bubble it with some BB and molasses for 36 hrs and give to your plants. Unsulphered molasses is like $3 & generic brand is fine.
