I think I harvested the third week of October- ...
Yeah, that's a big problem here in the rain forest. One has to take extordinary measures to keep from losing 3 months of work to bud rot in the October rains. One of the reasons I'm looking at OGS and GMSC for a September finish.

Beautiful plants, and nice finish!
Thanks! They did finish nicely

What worked for you?
no one tried to rip me off ;)

I had motion detecting cameras, a motion detector that beeped in the house and a piece of thread attached to a bunch of bells hanging by my window- the meter reader broke the thread, the bells crashed to the ground and we had a good laugh about it. I also have video of skunks and possums

I grew some autos outside last summer. The particular strains I had were meh, but I have some Mephistos I'll try next summer. While the ones I grew took weeks longer than the breeders claimed, they still finished before September, mostly by the second week of August (long before the rippers are out). I can grow 6 med and with others living here 4 rec, so with 10 of the little buggers even at 2oz each it's not nothing... as long as the quality holds up. Autos are improving and Mephisto strains quality are supposed to be comparable to photos. Just another possibility.

LOL! :D That helps.

I live up the street from the Sheriff's office, so when ours were stolen we walked over and reported it. That was surreal.

The thieves only took part of the crop, so I camped out in a tent for a few nights... but really, what was I going to do if I caught them? So I gave that up. This spring we might get a puppy, depending on how big it is when full grown, summer of 2019 I might try outdoor again on a small scale. Definitely plant late -- like mid-June -- and keep them small and under the radar.

I can't imagine a photo finishing that early

I think I harvested the third week of October- it had started to rain and I had moved my 3 plants into a portable carport in the backyard. I was paranoid as hell since someone cut 3 branches off my GG4 the year before so I employed a number of security devices

There was a cut of White Russian going around the Eugene area that finished around September 20 with great quality.

7$ motion sensor/remote alarms at harbor freight. I caught a kid in my backyard with it. After going back and looking at the security footage there was only 17 seconds between him coming over the fence and me walking him out of my yard with my hands around his neck. I called the cops and after they went through their procedures they asked if I wanted him arrested. That was fucking awesome.

I hear you there- I keep a loaded .38 handy, but do I really want to shoot someone over theft?
No, I think the proper thing to do is to punch them in the face, and possibly urinate on them

I had pepper spray and a taser in the tent with me, its a miracle I didn't blind or electrocute myself. I was so pissed off that we were robbed I went as far as getting "less than lethal" 12ga. rubber buckshot, but then my inner Rambo left the building and I realized my imagination had gone further than the rest of me was willing to follow.

My all Auto outdoor summer grow experiment...

So far these have popped:

Royal Queen -- Critical
Barney's Farm -- Sin Trabajo
-- Blue Mammoth
HighLowGrow -- (2) Berry Ryder
Sweet Seeds -- (2) Dark Devil
-- Mohan Ram
Southern Oregon Seeds -- Blueberry
Mephisto -- Sky Stomper
-- Chemdogging

There are two others I will give a couple more days to (it's been 7 days, most broke the surface within 4 days), but I'm pretty sure they're duds. And then I have a couple of others on deck in case some that popped crap out on me. I want at least 10 going, based on reviews I should easily get around 2-3oz. each, but averaging at as little as 1.6oz each I'll clear a pound, and that's all I need.

Where did you get the huckleberry from I’ve been wanting to try it had a fire huckleberry cut years ago still haven’t had any huckleberry weed that comes close in taste it was 100 percent huckleberry how did it turn out for you. Also need some purple punch been hearing good things

Perfect babance of berry and skunk, so far my favorite. A friend ran some seeds from a dynasty pack, sent me a handful. Haven’t flowered punch yet bet stem rub is stupid stank, especially this mutant. C8AB2889-8513-49B2-BEBC-BCCFBA8DA922.jpeg
