I have been lucky enought to have visited three of the North cali riu bbqs and one in LA. We have a blast everytime and have been asked by several Oregon members abour the possibility of doing one. I have been hunting a location and last night @Druzil had the best idea. As of now the plan is to rent out a whole small unattended camp grounds on public lands. We sould be 100% legal so i say lets do it. When will be the best time for everyone?

Shit i was thinking middle of the state so the most can come. Pdx, eugene, rogue river, cave junction, the OR coast , all have tons of growers. I have only been in Oregon for a year and a couple months and dont ever see us leaveing. We absolutely love it here just want out of the valley for cultivation reasons. You guys will probably know the best spots. Where ever i am going to promote it on ig and grow shops as much as i can.

I was thinking mid summer some time before we all our plants start flowering. Fall sucks for growers, winter is hell plus i am going to sac bbq and santa rosa emerald cup to meet @hyroot dec. I really dont care when or where as long as we can all have a good time. I am good for eats and clones. As long have bud it will be there to.

Sweet mid summer does sound good plenty of time to get my ducks in a row im sure everyone can kinda just do the whole pot luck thing to cover grub and reefer everyone has lol exchangeing some beans and or clones would be dope to and thatll be plenty of time to gather a few cuts i guess now its just finding which area costs less with a better outcome! Im from southern oregon so im game keep posting man and lets see how she goes

The hardest thing when we started planning the RIU bbq's was finding the right spot. We chose Camp Far West because it is a private campground/lake without any pesky park rangers on patrol. Best of luck to you guy's, the BBq's are a blast!....:eyesmoke:

That has been my issue and my buddys idea sounds like a fit. He says these small campgrounds are unatended and would be easy to rent out.
