Ordered My First Spores!

Awesome! I grew some from the bookstore outta a hightimes ad 10years ago and shit was baddass. I ate 2 many one night and had a bad trip and threw out flowering cake. It was fun though might try again.
 
Last time i eat shrooms it was a half once of mex cubensis wet. I spoke to god that night. fucking awsome.

Checked on the jars tonight. The 3 that have been goin for a while have maybe 5% left to colonize. Just a few real small patches on the bottom and thats it. The new jars obviously dont have anything yet. I also have that quarter cake fruiting (alacabenzi) so hopefully n.a few days well see some small mushies
 
Alright so i was talkin to my buddy lastnight and he was tellin me that little quarter cake we have fruiting has pins all over it! Super excited but o wanna see for myself and get pics for u guys. Its a good feeling knowing that the shits working hahhahaha

this is a definite must, especially with shrooms...
key to this hobby is sterilization...

idk if anyone ID'ed the red contam, but its most likely "lip stick" mold.
ive also read that someone said dont throw away contamed jars because its a phase theyre going through...
uhhh no. throw them away.

ive been doing bulk grows since i started, and did PF cakes once...
never liked em.
although u can crumble a fully colonized jar of BRF jars and spawn them to other substrates....

and also, alacabenzi's are good visual strain, but theres iso's and other strains that'll kick the benzis ass
 
Thanks man! Nope no one hit the red contam so thanks on that to lol. I want to get one pretty bad hahahaha im over tryin to steam them but its what i got right now. Once i do get one id like to move to bigger grows but thats a differnt story. But yeah ill check out the site and all and probably hit u up soon. Whats some other strains thatll show up the alacabenzis?
 
Wheres your huge Pressure cooker at? so much easier/more efficient/more dependable. Definately trash any contammed jars, but DONT EVER OPEN THEM! Dont worry about strain name when doint this though, they are all plenty dank as long as they are cubensis. Pressure cooker+Wild bird seed at walmart+ Quart jars + Manure(that you pasturize)+ monotubs= easy ass pounds. Everyone starts with pf cakes but let me know if you are gonna step it up next grow. You are doing awesome for mushies for yourself atm.

Penis Envy (this is STRONG, i only take 1.5 to trip hard as fuck)
Penis Envy Uncut (strong as fuck too)
Albino Penis Envy (this one also)
Great White Monster (very very visual)
Wikidzonz (STRICLTY forum member only strain, not released to public)
and a few others

but the five up top will put u on ur ass..
yeah they might be all names but some strains contain more psilocibin than others
i.e.
Golden Teachers Vs. any penis strains above...
the GT will tickle u compared to any penis strains.

like i said dude, i will be more than happy to help u successfully grow shrooms, just help me with my weed!!!!! hahaha

u are right, but for u to actually produce atleast a pound, u need multiple monotubs going and good genetics...
just like ganja, its all gentics genetics genetics...

theres alot of other spawn u can use...
corn, wild bird seeds, rye, ect...
im a corn man myself
 
Sweet info man lol yeah i would like to step it up soon just wanna finish these ones out first. Get some practice and all and really get goin. Idk if i can help with ur weed lol id say i know a pretty fair ammount but im nothing compaired to others on here. Also has alot to do with my set up and where i live so i have had a few grows but they werent anything to brag about ahahaha. Im still a grasshopper n that area i guess u can say lol. O i tried to get on the site and made an account to check it out but said i couldnt visit the site so i sent the admin an email to fix it. Id defintly like to grow the penis envys just cuz iv heard so much about them. Theu just seem like a universaly good strain. I dont think iv read anything on them not growing and shit like the creepers i got.llol. 1.5g for a trip blows my mind lol thats some good shit. Whats a monotub?

big grow in a big ass tupperware container (storage bins)
i have a penis envy growlog, and my tub exploded with shrooms, cant wait to hear from u in the shroom forum!

keep note though, penis strains DO NOT print spores like other shrooms.
if u get ur hands on some penis envy syringes make LC's (liquid culture) but you'll learn on the site...

You dont need good genetics, just any strain. Indeed you need more than 1 tub bro. I have grown B+ Brazilian and penis envy and all produced a few ounces per tub after 3 flushes on casing per monotub. I am only trying to help when I tell you now to worry about strains. I used to love the way that you can do a G2G transfer from 1 jar to colonize 12 jars and the cycle is so easy to keep going. I used to love how the costs to keep it running are next to nothing.

trippin alones no fun either, sum say its ok but for me its no fun with just u and ur thoughts. u think of alot of stuff, sumtimes stuff u dnt care for, or things u want to forget. and they keep going through ur head, all night

The more solution you use, the faster the substrate will colonize. You can easily get 10+ jars out of a 10ml syringe (and IIRC, the orginal PFTek called for 1ml/jar), but I prefer to use more.

the first part im going to somewhat disagree with.........
remember the more u use, the more water ur squirting in, and the more your messing with the water content..
try to just buy prints and make ur own syringes... just until its light purple...

even if u cant see them with the naked eye, they contain millions
 
I make my own syringes from agar cultures and it just may be my strain (Palenque from Ralphsters), but I get the best results using 10ml per quart jar. Then again, I use popcorn, not rice/verm. I'll be trying a new strain soon and will see if I have moisture problems.

Edit:
Quite a few spore sellers aren't selling prints anymore due to some legal changes in the industry.
