Orange Bud and Blue Dream

Been a minute since my last grow.

Equipment:
Apollo 400 MH/HPS, cool tube
Gorilla tent 2x2.5
2 fabric pots (7gal)
Can fan max (2)
Custom Soil blend

Seeds: 1 of each
Orange Bud-Dutch Passion
Blue Dream-Humboldt Seeds

Yes, that is 400 watts air cooled in a 2.5x2 tent...if you go diagonal-it fits with 6” flex hose and you get the benefit of more watts per sqft. I started one of each and now at 2 weeks (transplanted from solo cups yesterday) they are at about the 4th set of leaves. Although I have used a tall tent in the past, this grow will go SCROG this time so I will be Topping (twice) and LST’ing to keep things low. This will be my first time topping my plants as I usually would lean them under a scrog net at 45-60 days veg with pretty good results.

As with my other journals, questions or comments are appreciated-we all learn from each other.

You'll be cool. I got a 400w hps in a 3x3 tent with no issues. And ironically I also have two phenos that are orange smelling and blue dream selling. Both of mine are different phenos of my cross I call miyagi which has buddha's dream which is a blue dream cross so that's were the fermented berry smell comes from. The orange flavor comes from the critical sensi star mom. The orange pheno is the best smelling plant I've grown, straight orange peel. Cheers and hope you find some good good

Oh Nice! Nice buds!

I had to cancel this grow do to my stupid mistake of not using super clean fabric bags pots. I used last years bags and thought I had cleaned them but should have double checked. I will always use new ones in the future. Water locked up bad and I missed it. My babies died almost overnight. I will restart soon. I was very disappointed but once I get new clean bags it will good.

I exclusively try to use dutch passion seeds (orange bud in this case) but am giving humboldts blue dream a shot too. The orange bud when done is unbelievably orange. I will also eventually get my greenhouse seeds goin...ssh...that’s a long one though. Dutch passion to me, have the most excellent genes in their bank and some of the better skunks if your into that.

Props again on your buds! Gonna be tasty i am sure :)

Thanks. I think the father, Buddha's dream (blue dream x critical sensi star), passed on a lot of the blue dream qualities especially the haze side of the dream. A lot of my cross's seedlings have the thin finger leaves of a sativa. The smoke off my first four was heady but balanced with body stone as well. Cheers
